Both are immensely successful and both are immensely profitable.

They're not going to cancel the MCU if Endgame doesn't get to #1.

Even if they were (which they're not), they're not losing so much to make the movie unprofitable.

The only people who could be losing money is the theater chains by having to keep avengers in theaters while they instead could be filled with other movies that are filling a higher percentage of seats per showing.
