Yea Forums is basically a faceless mob and has the same problems that faceless mobs do. There's rampant racism and misogyny, tons of actual crazy people, harassment campaigns used to be common and so on.
There's tons of negative aspects of Yea Forums and most people who don't come here will only know about them.
I mean, I talked to a girl about Yea Forums once and the first thing she mentioned was that she heard that a girl posted a picture of herself and then killed herself because people said she was ugly. Compare that to the level of stalking and harassment that happens on Facebook. Cyberbullying is a real thing, but almost every case of serious online bullying that takes places happens due to their real name being doxed due to people finding their Facebook.
