compared to the first two, it was just nauseatingly overly violent. way too gruesome and hard to watch without looking away. that made it pretty boring to me

The coin thing in this series triggers me. So one coin will get you a hotel room, or a drink at the bar. If you don't get change you are leaving a massive tip in many situations. It seems like for stuff like the bar you'd just pay regular money.

It wasn't the increase in carnage that did it for me but, that was a bit surprising. Most of the fights seemed to go on for way too long and the choreography became repetitive. Like the sequence with the dog bitch.

Somewhat, compared to the first two, but this one felt more deconstructed and had more aesthetically-pleasing scenes, like the revolver scene which used the most unforgettable Flamenco flourish I've ever heard in a soundtrack for the way in which it modified the action.
