your missing out on seeing how the films looks in a classic theater setting, if the script is good and not only has you immersed but is also filmed with great attention to cinematography then it is quiet the experience, you should go out and find theaters that play not just current blockbusters, you could socialize and meet like minded people, but your right in the way that things are different, theater movies are dumbed down alot now, streaming services are being more ambitious yet are plagued with politics backed by modern journalist or bloggers looking to leach off controversy, that and the convenience to have this service in the same way everything else is set up is alot easier and satisfies our need to isolate yet connect our selves with technology, but nothing beats that dark tunnel vision of a classic theater and a good film
