how much did Eric Roberts get paid for this video?
Also more Eric Roberts music video kino: youtube.com
>The Pussycat Dolls
What happened to them?
my cousin would play that Nelly F song on constant repeat when it came out
Also I enjoyed discovering rihanna and shakira around that time, I only ever really watched vh1/mtv around that 2006-2008 period when I was in the upper grades
lead singer left and they hit 30, girl/boy bands don't last long
Didn't they fall apart because Nicole hogged all the spotlight?
>showered with domestic industry awards
>can hardly sell a record outside of Australia
This guy is a major cocksucker
They let him rape that bitch. Payment enough.
Remember Creed, Nickelback, Staind, and all those faggy rock bands with very "manly" singers? If I close my eyes and think of the archetypical fan of any of those gay bands all I can think of are M'lady neckbeards.
Thank God that trend died.
>immediately change the channel
It's called buttrock m8.

Speaking of R Kelly
Cumming in a tight ass
And I've been blowing huge loads
Gotta gotta go down
Because I'll suck a cock
It started out with a kiss
How did it end up like this?
It was only a kiss, it was only a kiss
Now I'm fucking her ass
And she's sucking his cock
While he's licking my nuts
And she's pegging my ass
Now they're taking my hole
And my stomach is sick
And it's all in my head
But she's touching his chest now
He takes off her dress now
Let me go
And I just can't look, it's killing me
And taking control
Hips don't lie was unironically the first song I bought off itunes, not even the music video since I had a nano
Yeah I didnt even know who she was at the time and didnt really listen to radio or MTV and kids at school were just referencing "the shakira song" so i had to check it out and thats how my first waifu was made

protip: look up classic wow videos if you want to get immersed in mid 2000s music
I like your sense of humor
i dig this kind of pop music, now everyone wants to show off their most ridiculous outfit rather than make some good tunes
For every year of the 2000s, post a song you remember with a memory from the year:
>2000: Mom taking me to see emperor's new groove youtube.com
>2001: Little sister was born youtube.com
>2002: Started Kindergarten, sent to office for sword fighting with play scissors youtube.com
>2003: Make friends with some ADHD student and the teacher uses me to calm him down daily youtube.com
>2004: My aunt and her friend who were typical Kelly Clarkson hair/low rise jeans wearers blasting song related all the way to Vegas youtube.com
2005: Being scared of hurricanes cuz Katrina youtube.com
2006: Got my skateboard taken away by yard duty, never saw it again youtube.com
2007: Had a boring ass teacher and would count the cargo trains on the passing railroad on a daily basis youtube.com
2008: First kiss, first cell phone youtube.com
2009: Junior high, everyone has emo bangs youtube.com
you talking about those christian music cds or world of warcraft?

WTF, THESE WEREN'T THE SAME SONG?? I'm reminded of these two, which similarly suffered from being indistinguishable from one another:
m.youtube.com
I wanna like this music but it reminds me of working in shitty retail jobs as a teen
Forgot the second link like a retard
m.youtube.com
fuck all of you fake ass nostalgic zoomers
this was the best song of the early 2000s youtube.com
that’s only because this was released in 1997 tho youtube.com
yea, these
the alternative to fuccboi jams with frat party college vids - the future painted, but sold out on arrival
wish I could find that pic but oh well I never saw it either
That keane song was pretty much the generic song for romcom trailers, they had another song in one of the Madden games that I liked
youtube.com
This song reminds me of the few months I had my first 'real' job, retard gas station company owner trying to sell 'vouchers that no-one wanted or could possibly be interested in for jackshit pay, over the phone, doing nothing all day because they didn't supervise us, no internet, using 7 year old phone books lmao. one asian dude who showed up and slept for 8 hours, one other girl who left, and an indian chick who I used to talk with.
Sorry user, but there's only room enough in this thread for one true piece of Killers kino. Unironically.
m.youtube.com
I dont understand how this song never gets old, it's been like 20 fucking years and I could hear it once a day and not get sick of it
one of those that everyone likes
youtube.com
an underrated one for reasons...
Cant find the non explicit music video

youtube.com
Most dated song ITT reporting
What was the name of that gay foreign song sung by Swedes I believe. There was also an early meme with some fat guy singing along to it. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
also a based song user, those handful of killers tracks were just great
numa numa?
youtube.com
>I'm white
>19 when this came out
>I'm supposed to love this song
>I'd never even heard it for like 10 years
>I finally do, and I don't like it and think it's basically a really shit rip-off (at best, a 'homage') of Queen Bitch by David Bowie
It can't just be me who doesn't like this song and band? The lead singer with his monotonous drone annoys the shit out of me, literally anyone with half a note of talent can do a better cover, ffs that lounge dick cheese comedy singer did a better cover of Somebody Told Me.
The Chemical Brothers had pretty kino clips around that time.

>Not posting the true hit
Yes that one, thanks.
i prefer this one(didnt know it was a 50cent song)
'98 but this is the whitest thing you'll see this week
youtube.com
I still can’t believe no one posted hey ya in a list of the most kino songs of the 2000s and instead people jerking off to the killers’ worst single
hey ya is great but there is absolutely no reason to shit on the eternal classic that is Mr Brightside
>No link
I got you covered fampai

Does 1999 count as 2000s?

kept telling my bro i found the song/artist and it wasnt actually called numa numa but he still doesn't believe me to this day
>Rihanna
>early 2000s
Were you born in 2000 or something?
Can't get much more kino than this F
youtube.com
Well, didnt know about that one
99 is peak early 2000s
youtube.com
The song that made Commies seethe
The op is a song from 2007
youtube.com
this is the first song I remember actively seeking out as a kid
MY FUCKIN ROBOT EARS!!!
in my defense I confused it with somebody told me so it’s not their worst single of the 2000s just their like 2nd or 3rd weakest
the best thing about mr. bright side is that they played it on The O.C.
Literally any single from their second album is better than this one
Why did commies seethe and why are the comments talking about censorship. I'm noticing swear words are cut out but is that it?
this is the god-tier emo song
It made anyone with ears seethe
>the best thing about mr. bright side is that they played it on The O.C.
The OC was incredibly based so I will forgive your otherwise needlessly contrarian opinions.
it’s not even emo music you zoomer fag that’s what emo sounds like youtube.com
Fucking zoomer faggot
>killers second album is better than the first one
>O.C. is based
>hey ya is fucking smashing
>everlong might be the best song from the last 20 years
>get up kids were the shit
I think you meant patrician opinions
that's pop punk you stupid faggot
Suck my ass gramps
>3 US platinum albums with all 5 making at least top 100 is hardly selling outside Australia
>predicting Theresa May 20 years before she became PM of the UK
I miss them so much bros
let's not quibble over the particularities of our nostalgia for the early 00s desu, it was a blessed time
dat stacy tho
no it’s fucking midwest emo not pop punk you retard
if you wanna get technical it’s second wave emo but no one here listens to Rites of Spring, Julia or Cap’n Jazz so kys
>nobody posted it yet
fair enough but I’d say that 1994-2006 was much better than 2000-2010
youtube.com
MMMMmmm MMMMmmm MMMMmmm
This
it's actually pop punk
its like im listening to green day+weezer
if you think that's emo....i feel sorry for you
i need an edible with this
Id agree being that my very favorite band from either decade is probably Modest Mouse, who made almost all their best stuff in the 90s. Honestly I am very not engaged with music these days though, I am probably forgetting a huge amount of stuff I used to love. Modest Mouse's 90s stuff is just some of the only things I still listen to these days so they figure prominently in my awareness of all that music. I wouldnt say they're the best or anything, it's more a personal thing
>I miss this 90s-2000s era of comfy techno/disco pop or whatever it's called
It’s not pop punk you aids ridden faggot why do you even pretend to know what emo sounds like when you fucking think my chemical romance is it
this is what emo sounded like
youtube.com
B&R
Gwen is top qt
youtube.com
Yeah for me it was just the perfect time for all the genres I loved, like you had Guided by Voices dropping Bee Thousand in 1995, you had the midwestern emo and indie scene at full throttle (including MM obvs) you had Elliott Smith being Elliott Smith and even the mainstream rock at the time was like, Smashing Pumpkins’ MCIS
1994-2004/5/6 was the fucking best for music
all early 2000s rock bands from busted to blink 182 to these clowns all sound the exact fucking same
worse decade for music
your not helping your case, that shit sounds like pop with a slight punk twist, almost bordering on screamo at times in their songs
my bro and his wife are emo, mcr and evanescence are the top emo bands
>This far into the thread and no one's posted Feel Good Inc or Harder Better Faster Stronger
ultimate early 2k fap kino coming through
youtube.com
I remember this coming out right when school was going into our half-year exams, and literally every dude was talking about it.
congrats you reddit spacing fag you had me until evanescence
enjoy some Julia you useless zoomer youtube.com
caution to all lonely and horny-posters
seriously be careful
youtube.com
>Does 1999 count as 2000s?
The 90's didn't end until 2002 and the 2000's started in 99.
youtube.com
Ya'll want a single, Yea Forums?
Elliot Smith I fucking loved when I was younger, and even as recently as last year I was listening to him heavily when I was painting, God he had something delicate but powerful. GBV and SP I both only knew tangentially but liked.
I honestly do not remember what I used to listen to, I know that I adore the album Spiderland still for its pure cathartic pathos, I also used to listen to a lot of hiphop but that all stopped. I went through all the mucore way back when as well, so that stuff is all imprinted in my psyche somewhere, though I haven't browsed mu since like 2013.
Trying to go through my memory, my favorite Tom Waits album is Mule Variations which was mid 90s I think, though that's very much because I grew up with that album so it's special to me. The Pogues also had a great album whose name I forget in the 90s, though that might have been 80s actually im not sure.
idk I cant remember at all, I started listening almost exclusively to classical music and radio pop like 5 years ago, go figure
All these posts and the best music video hasn't been posted...
youtube.com
You now remember Sugarcult.
so now you post some actual screamo?
your bands dont even have an emo aesthetic to them
you confusing punk with emo is so heartbreaking
Fuck
feel good inc came out in 2005.
Pattern was better tho youtube.com
just listen to rites of spring (and eat glass) youtube.com
I've watched this video way too many times just for her even though I like the song :3 The only girls I waifu more are The Corrs girls, Norah Jones & Taytay.
Pattern was better but it doesn't have a video. They did another video though, for Invalid Litter Dept.
youtube.com
Gay Mormons are the best Mormons
youtube.com
Sucks to be you, Yea Forums.
WHEN I WAS
I was absolutely gutted when he died. Something delicate but powerful is another good way to put it. And yeah I wasn’t into Slint so much but I had friends who were. I was more into the alt-country vibe like early Wilco or Magnolia Electric Co
You should give him a try based on these other bands it sounds like you’d be into him
youtube.com
youtube.com
youtube.com
Definitely an all time favorite
forgive me Yea Forums for I must go all out just this once...
so is the only argument for "emo" music the death/blood like lyrics even tho they sound punk, pop or rock?
Also I can definitely relate to just giving up and not remembering tons of shit I was into back then. I used to make fun of my dad in the 90s for just listening to the radio and his old 70s boomer shit.. and then I turned out just like that by the time I hit my 30s too lol
1999, but I win this thread for pure comfyness
m.youtube.com
This thread needs some Robbie
youtube.com
youtube.com
Pretty sure she left him because of that mustache
this is emo
youtube.com
Classic video with the Not Another Teen Movie cast.
Are you a fag or wamyn?
Did you just not listen to music?
Seek this out?
youtube.com
>h-he already wrote the song, and made the music video, sir
No, emo music has an actual scene it grew out of (out of the hardcore DC scene in the late 80s), a few different phases and a coherent musical aesthetic. Then the term was co-opted by assholes who thought anyone who dressed in black but wasn’t goth was emo somehow and it became attached to that shit even though it has nothing to do with it
youtube.com
THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST
they actually have some kino music videos though
youtube.com
youtube.com

COME MY LADY, COME COME MY LADY
fuck off
I see you are a man of culture
For some reason the cap of the singer made me think about the softies and they are a much better and the comfiest band ever
youtube.com
As I said earlier, everlong might be the best alternative track of the last 30 years
God, Come Clean is such a fucking jam.

I enjoy this song a lot more now that I know they are both straight and the black haired one I liked as a kid, hates gays and said she'd disown her son if he was gay.

youtube.com
Ill check out MEC for sure, I love Wilco too, I really do, I used to listen to his stuff on repeat in hard situations.
Anons.....how least we forget youtube.com
>early 2000's theme
>song from 97
>song from 2011
Yes everlong is based (although I think Aurora is a better song), but this fits the theme.
youtube.com
Yes man lol that is where im at, and im not even at 30 yet, I just got distracted by other stuff. Honestly though you are bringing me back to remembering a lot of it through what you're posting, there was so much human feeling and meaning it.
This was the one music video that actually fucked me up as an impressionable young Canadian lad back in the day.
Caught in the undertow, just caught in the undertow
youtube.com
YASSSSSSSSSSSS
Yeah MEC is like if like, early Wilco had Elliott Smith write their lyrics and got a more gruff singer to go along with it. It’s fucking great and sad and full of lyrics like “You see I nailed my guilt to the back of my eyes / So I see it now before the sun“. RIP Jason. No one chooses to be sick.
Lol it’s only gonna get worse but in a good sense, I suppose. Like, things that actually matter in life end up becoming your priorities and you just have little time to look for new music and keep up to date etc... A nice thing though is once in a while it can feel really exhilarating hearing that one song at the right time and you almost feel like you’re 16 or 20 again. It’s pretty comfy. A friend of mine and I were reminiscing about shit while driving it was a great summer day and he said something that reminded me of that song I put it in and we just drove in silence listening to it. It was a pretty nice moment
youtube.com
forgot about low, and aurora is a great song as well. should have posted this instead
youtube.com
At the time 2005 seemed firmly new school, but in retrospect it fits in more with the early 00s rather than with what came afterwards

>You see I nailed my guilt to the back of my eyes / So I see it now before the sun,
I have looked it up as we speak. it's called What comes After Blues I think, I have it playing
>Lol it’s only gonna get worse but in a good sense, I suppose.
bro what does not, that is the story of life, this fucked up path though decay and re-emerging that is supposed to somehow end up ok, and really all the bad shit is somewhat forgiven by those good parts it really is I think, forgive me for being a dramatic faggot, but I am on edge from stuff in my life right now.
Also you are absolutely killing me by posting 1979 in conjunction with a memory of your friend, I used to listen to that song all the time with my best friend of the past decade, who I still sometimes talk to, but we're far apart now geographically and in mind, and it's sad to me, it reminds me of all the good times.
It is so nice though when you have those moments with your old friends, and the art that helped connect your mutual experiences, I can't know what the thing was for you guys but I know that feeling.
Enjoy. Somehow this became forgotten over the years.
youtube.com
I remember one of the first genres of youtube videos was lip syncing funny songs
sorry the best version of the song, apparently been done three times youtube.com
simpler times lads
someone else who knows of the veronicas....
only got their first album, i should look into getting thier others
Yeah it’s one of my fav songs from him
And I don’t think you’re being dramatic, that shit and those feelings happen in life. It’s ok and it’s normal you just need to make sure you don’t let them stop you.
Listen im from the tail end of the Gen X. Like, I vividly remember where I was when I learned Cobain died. John Hughes and Molly Ringwald and Ataris and shit. Most of all I grew up being bombarded about how everything was shit, getting married was shit, being a wage slave was shit, everything is terrible and don’t be a fucking square.
It’s all bullshit. Turns out life is pretty great if you don’t waste it. Get a career, get a wife, get a house, start a family, get involved with the community, find a hobby, spend time outside... all of that is actually really great. Growing old is not terrible, its pretty fantastic. It’s exhilarating to hear that one song that reminds you what it’s like to be 16 but fuck I’d never want to be 16 again, aside from the extra years added to my life.
Friendships fall away but when you commit to a marriage and family and building something, that never leaves man. So cheer up, and become one of those dads who puts on Lonesome Crowded West and annoy the fuck out of your kids who just want to hear the latest bullshit
Nigga I watched it when it was on television. Like, week after week from the pilot onward
God bless this homo.
youtube.com
She didn’t hit the wall, she fucking ate it
you are an awesome fucking person m8, I wish you the very best. I am still confused as fuck but what you say makes sense. I will go whatever way is open to me, and try to open those ways that I can.
I hope you're in a good place too and have some of those things you want, that makes the bullshit ok.
yea they had a great coming of age party vibe when i was growing up, not sure what it's like now
>Ha-Ha! Well now we call this the act of mating
>But there are several other very important differences
>Between human beings and animals that you should know about

*crack* siiip.. I remember when vevo would censor their music videos.. shit sucked.
youtu.be
I have 100% jerked off to the song where they prance around in schoolgirl uniforms.
Thanks mate, wish you the very best as well. And yeah thankfully I was able to right the ship early enough that now I’ve either achieved or about to achieve all the stuff that I listed and my life has never been better. Not to say it’s all sunshine all the time, sometimes it sucks still, but that’s life. And when you build something around you and share it with people and the family you make, it makes it all worth it. Good luck with everything, and try to aim for all of that
youtube.com
>tfw use to jerk off to this vid all the time, trying to time it so i dont cum to the guy thrusting his hips at the camera
>now im a fag who likes traps and femboys
take me back lads
kino song
I think you are on right way and that makes me happy honestly, you are a nice person

Is there a 720p/1080p version of this?
Childhood is idolizing Stacey's mom.
And what's adulthood, user?
Assuming he doesn't mean faggy AMV garbage that tards made with their WoW fraps, I think he means the nostalgia of seeing classic WoW will also ignite the songs you heard at that time. For me, playing EverQuest again on p99 sent me into a 90s music phase for weeks.
>a song from 2007
Promiscuous came out in 2006, everyone knows that.
Nothing will ever beat this
Only billie eilish lol. Even lady gaga has toned down her image
Jesus christ this thread just unearthed a lot of personal archaeology. Just being battered by waves of nostalgia here.
Maybe someone here will know what I'm talking about here cause I've been looking for this song for awhile, the artist was a junkie when writing and performing and pretty sure his band had like a one word name like eg can or cake. Song is one of those late 90's early 2000's drug use and despair songs where the lyrics were indirect. Pretty sure it was a one hit wonder. Very alt rock. It's been killing me.
you are not alone user
Also idolizing Stacey's mom, obviously.
Shakira has my vote
shit man even one single word of the lyrics would help
as someone who spent 5 years finding a song i only heard twice on a local college station from the 90s, i know that feel though
yeah man I'm racking my brain trying to remember any details. I remember watching a video of the band performing it live and the singer is wearing a hat backwards but how fucking useless is that lol
kill yourself immediately
Reminds me of being 14 and painting shit in games workshop, simpler times
Thickkk
I used to say that this was the sort of song that was going to really do a number on the psyches of young women and girls. I'm pretty sure it did
I hate those faggots so much.

>Eric Roberts already filmed all the scenes edited the movie, scored the soundtrack, appeared in all the music videos and operated all the cameras and microphones in his own scenes, for free.
>awful cockrock
The local radio DJ met Trapt's singer when they had this hit out, and said he was a total douche. He still has his cell number years later and randomly calls him on air ever few months/years and just says in a deadpan voice
>I'm headstrong.
>I'll take you on.
>I'm headstrong.
>I'll take on anyone.
and then hangs up. It's great.
Everyone Phil had beef with is dead, chances for a reunion are higher than ever

This track gives me the most chilling childhood flashbacks. I remember being at my cousins house and he had trance tracks like this playing all the time.
