If you arent familiar with film in general, check out something a bit easier to watch like Fight Club, American Psycho or Blade Runner. If you already have seen some basics, watch Come and See, its probably the best war film you will ever see.
>Why yes I'd like to be reffered to as an object or animal, thank you very much
Start with the Greeks.
This. Angelopoulos, Cacoyannis, Koundouros, Angelidi, etc. are a great place to start film.

Why is Vincent Gallo credited as director of Pulp Fiction and The Dark Knight?
>Vincent Gallo[1] (/ˈɡɑːloʊ/; born April 11, 1961) is an American actor, director, model, musician, painter and former motorcycle racer. Though he has had minor roles in mainstream films such as Arizona Dream, The Funeral and Palookaville, he is most associated with independent movies, including Pulp Fiction, which he wrote, directed, scored and starred in and The Dark Knight, which he also wrote, directed, produced, starred in and photographed. In the early 2000s, he released several solo recordings on Warp Records.
What seems to be the problem?
I guess you are right. I just thought he was a better director. Buffalo 66 is a masterpiece, Pulp Fiction and The Dark Knight are mediocre at best.
Pulp fiction>>dark knight≥>>>>>>>>>>>>buffalo 69
>Buffalo 66 is a masterpiece
I enjoyed its 65 prequels more tbqh
The Dark Knight is garbage just like most of Nolan's films.
My favorite Nolankino is where he stars in it himself and gets the main actress to suck him off
Agreed, just think that buffalo is not comparable to the other two really. Nolan peaked at memento and its only been downhill ever since.
How's Following? I haven't bothered to check it out
Are you the film school guy
We're all film schoolers in /lbg/
I didn't go to film school, I went to films
>Agreed, just think that buffalo is not comparable to the other two really.
You're right. It's a far, far better film.
