What’s with the SJW thing in movies and series?

Ever since about 2015, movies and series have been forcing LGBT, ethnic minorities and gender identity within a PC narrative in movies. Why is this and how did this all start?

The Birth of a Nation came out in 1915, 100 years before the time you are claiming to be the beginning of this "forced diversity."

Up until the 70s, black people were barely in American films at all, and as far as Asian-Americans, they've only had two films in 25 years focused on them.

What you perceive as "forced diversity" is only a natural progression of groups of people wanting to see themselves on screen.

It's less important to white people because 90% of films are about them anyway. In the case of Asian-Americans, Crazy Rich Asians only had to be a decent movie (which it was) to be a big deal because Asian-Americans just wanted SOMETHING.

The beginnings of this goes back to twitter and fb giving these tiny minorities a voice. Then the obama administration stoked the fire by allowing anti white/ normalcy/ hetero rhetoric. Hollywood jumped on the bandwagon because they had run out of ideas and thoughts this shit would be edgy. Therefore $$$'s. It then went full circle when the used social media to promote their own popular culture force fed degeneracy.

All those people have always existed. The suits decided a broader appeal by merit of including characters many types of people can identify directly with was a way to make more money. It must be working, or at least not negatively impacting the bottom line overmuch or we would have gone back to the "big-money" straight white male all the time scenario.

No there is a reason in the 70's there was a great increase of black people in media. It WAS being forced. They were just trying to end racism though.
Back then people didn't all mix together so there was a natural racism. People just didn't understand each other so there was fear.
Nowadays though racism was nearly gone. In the 90's and 2000's no one cared if you were black or whatever. But now people are blaming their short comings on the color of their skin and white children are growing up to feel guilty. Not to mention people are being called racist unfairly and its just creating a divide again.

A divide ((some people)) want.

No one likes to be be forced into something or something thrown in their faces. Thats the problem here.
