2>1>3

1 >>> 2 = 3 >>> Tom Cruise one

1>2

1=2 > power gap > 3 = Tom Cruise.

I have only seen 3, and don't think it's "terrible", much like everybody seems to think.

almost correct

1>2 > power gap > 3 = Tom Cruise.

1>2>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>'s scorpion king cgi, you know what i mean

>ghost, tomb, curse not the same tier
Literally same shitty movie with cosmetic changes. Once mummy is burned, once drowns. Whatever.
Agree about the rest.

HEY OCONNELL

1st and Cruise one then the rest.
These are only ones that get something right. 99 is cool and silly adventure flick with the mummy somewhere in the background but Cruise reboot has better mummy's seduce subplot, straight from 1930s one. The rest are sequel cashgrabs not worth a damn.

Just how bad is mummy chinkshit edition? I already did the other two and got nothing else to watch tonight.

2 > 1 > Tom Cruise mummy >>>>>> dog shit >>>>>> 3

its not THAT bad, its easily watchable, entertaining

personally its just my way least favorite

Ranked

Very bad. It's basically 90% of fights, 10% of adventure. Non-spoiler:
Opening scene - fights and warriors.
Tomb scene turns into fight.
Bar scene turns into fight.
Mummy wakes up, there is fight and chase.
More fights, a bit of adventure in Himalaya and again fight.
The end is one big fight followed by fight.

it's ok

same shit they did in 1 and 2 parts

the first film is on par with the indiana jones trilogy, the second film is alright but not nearly as good as the first
the third is shit, the tom cruise one is only loved by autistic retarded waifufags
see: alita battle angel

You can also rank with The Scorpion King in mind

>the tom cruise one is only loved by autistic retarded waifufags
And people who liked 1932 film. It's clearly an action packed take on 1932 slow burning story. Also, finally a mummy movie where supernatural romance between the creature from the past and a living person is the core of the movie. They bogged it down in lot of shit but still nailed this bit. We follow Amunet and Cruise, the relationship between them, mind control, visions. They should focus whole movie on this, leaving Jekyll and his monster universe out. That's what mummy story (movies and novels) is about, not a fucking Indiana Jones clone for teenagers with failed comedian.

Growing up, I always liked the 2nd one more. I even had a poster of it signed by Sommers, the director, because my dad worked with the industry (pic related, behind my desk). Rewatching the films and listening to the OST, I now realize that the 1st is superior

2nd is still fun to watch but 1st had that ultra vibe that made the series so fun
this ost is godlike atmosphere, pretty sure this is what made me like ancient egypt stuff

Seriously though Dark Universe revival take two when?

3 is atrocious.

Don't think your time is so worthless, user, its better spent watching something else.

nice rating

If this is a Mummy thread, I'm gonna come right out and say I unironically liked Scorpion King. But not the sequels, I try to pretend they don't exist.

It's already going on. The Invisible Man is in production, they start filming soon. Dark Universe will be a production company, so they won't have to change the logo. Movies will have huge variety. There will be low budget R rated horrors and more adventurous blockbusters too. The cast from the famous picture can still be in.

Nah, it's okay. It was decent Robert Howard pastiche, slightly marred by too much monkeying with the script.
I thought the Prince of Persia movie was better, just because it was more coherent, even if its main character was a bitch.

Reminder that Evie did everything wrong.

That's cool. Looking forward to it.
Whole movie should be about her and the mummy. George of Jungle guy shouldn't be in in at all. JUST can't take him seriously.

This is now a Rachel Weisz thread!

>The Invisible Man is in production
Will he be an incel?

Stop projecting user.

Fpbp.

1>Scorpion King>2>3

Probably no because he's supposed to be sociopathic ex. I hope he's really fucking insane. Ahmunet from The Mummy (2017) had no problem to slash a baby despite PG rating so if they want R rated horror he must be one hell of a sadistic fucker. In 1930s movie he's mad, killing random people for fun.

But the only reason that someone would be insane in this day and age is if they're an incel.
If they ditch the original setting then a crazed incel hungry for power over women would be the perfect backstory for the Invisible Man.
