I did and do enjoy talking about /got/, but have to hide anywhere from 30-50 dany images evey thread ruins any real semblence of what these threads are and used to stand for. Especially when for almost the entirety of /got/s life cycle on Yea Forums Dany's storyline has been made fun of whule her actor has rightfully been called out for poor acting along with being a misscast to begin with.

I just posted the quote of GRRM's original outline. He described it already. Jon joins to the nightwatch because he's in love with Arya and this torments him because is incest, Arya falls for Jon eventually and torments her. She bond with Tyrion in King's Landing (it sounds like if Sansa's arc with Tyrion was Arya's originally because Sansa gets married to Joffrey way before Ned gets decapitated). Tyrion eventually falls for Arya but is one sided. Eventually, in the last book, Arya and Jon find out they aren't related.
There's nothing in his original draft about Dany and Jon romance, but from day one is Arya/Jon, and the love triangle was with Tyrion, not Dany as far as we know of what GRRM told us. This changed so who cares. There's nothing romantic between Arya and Tyrion or Tyrion and Jon.

Reading the books and it really is sad how if Littlefinger wasn't a cunt and Cersei wasn't delusional Bobby's reign would have been fine.
LF is the main reason the crown fell into debt, it could handle Bobby's spending but not the accountant fiddling the finances, and if Cersei had just given him an heir then Robert Arryn would never have had anything to be killed over since Lyssa wouldn't be getting strung along either.

Both Cersei and Bobby were terrible together because they lost their love interest in the war (Cersei DID love Rhaegar), and turned to other people to cope but not each other. Bobby was a violent drunk who frequently beat his wife and raped her. If he hadn't taken out his rage and grief over Lyanna with her, she wouldn't have hated him as much as she did. He also fucked up the kingdom financially by his stupid whoring and partying. Jon Arryn and the non Baelish councilmembers were the saving grace, Robert basically didn't get involved in that shit (Joffrey was more involved with them than Robbert hilariously).
Joffrey is fucked up because he takes the WORST of his parents, not talking about Jaime. He idealized and tried to emulate Robert's worst traits but also had the cruelty Cersei was capable of. The cat he gutted was simply him trying to be a hunter like his father, for example.

I read an AU fanfic where Elia and her children survive, and Bobby marries her and raise them as his own, as his "revenge" on Rhaegar but down the years, he honestly learns to love Elia who handles him better than Cersei did to the point eventually he cuts the whoring. It's pretty interesting. His relationship with Ned is strained because he realizes he lied to him over Jon, and mostly because he realizes Lynna betrayed him and went with Rhaegar willingly which allowed him to move on.

At best I can see Bobby keeping Aegon as hostage until he is of age then having him take the black and marrying Rhaenys off to his heir since she'd only be a few (6? 8?) years older and it'd keep Dorne in line. Under Robert the crown spent far more on tournies, festivals, and frivolous expenses. This alone wasn't what caused its financial woes though, the real issue is that Robert spent beyond its cashflow and used loans to cover the costs without properly servicing his debts.
He had immeasurable wealth but only a small portion was liquid and not earmarked for essential budget concerns so he took external funding instead of selling shit off to cover his expenses and kept accruing interest on it since he relied on Tywin's gold to pay it back, didn't manage the debts properly himself, and Littlefinger was secretly fucking him for years as Master of Coin.
Basically if he'd planned it out further in advance and budgeted for it with future income or just paid back what he owed before taking new loans or had an accountant that wasn't manipulating figures constantly for their own profit and to deliberately worsen the situation he'd have been fine....but he did none of that, so he wasn't.
