I liked it, but I think Olyphant had too much Raylan in his Bullock. In the show Bullock is absolutely nothing like Raylan, every scene you've got him scowling and barely keeping himself from shooting some cocksucker, but here the line wasn't as well-drawn. Maybe it just stood out more to me because I've always liked how he played two very different "lawman" characters so differently.

Yeah, pretty half-assed attempt from HBO to placate the fans. They know they Jewed us out of a real ending for the series and wanted to keep some nostalgic fans around after the mass post-GoT exodus.

Olyphant is underrated in the role. The first time I watched it I thought they just cast an untalented real life autist in the role and it ruined the experience for me. Only once I realized Olyphant played Seth this robotic and weird on purpose did I really come to enjoy the character.

I think it's one of those things that takes time to grow on you. I didn't really care for his performance until the second season.

Too bad the film was hella inaccurate. Like straight up filled with LIES.

3 years after Wild Bill's death, Deadwood was leveled by an all consuming fire (destroyed over 300 buildings that were comprised of sap filled pinewood). This included the Gem Theater (which you all know as the Gem Saloon).
They had to rebuild the town basically from scratch, but this time used brick and mortar (so the wooden buildings you saw in the film were non existent). Surprisingly, Al Swearengen was a real figure. And he rebuilt the Gem Theater (so it definitely wouldn't have looked exactly the same as it still did in the movie).
And oh yeah, the Gem almost immediately burned down again after that and Al Swearengen moved to Colorado for the remainder of his life until he was murdered in the street of Denver, shot in the fucking head).

The film and the TV series was just complete bullshit and all you faggots slurped it up like the semen out of a black man's asshole. Don't you ever post about Shitwood on my site ever again or I'll find you and you will die alone in the street just like that worthless fuck Al.
