As soon as they did the Star Wars episode, everything went to shit. Someone on the writing developed a bizarre obsession with extremely gratuitous violence and sex/incest. I haven't watched a new episode in ages but the older episodes are still enjoyable.

it was great to watch as a tween because of how edgy and random it was, I remember watching it at friends places when the parents werent home and being entranced by the sex and violence. Then i grew up and now i find it pretty much unwatchable

Hate people that say the first few seasons are the best. They were good and endearing but it was just another basic bitch cartoon about a mild mannered family. The direction it went was fine and there are lots of great episodes and shit episodes
