i used to love the history channel in the 90s/early 2000s, even when it was the hitler channel. then the reality shit started and while pawn stars wasn't the worst thing ever, they loaded their entire catalog of shows with similar shit and stopped doing anything related to actual history. i ditched cable a long time ago now so i have no idea what state the network is in now but if its anything like when i left, its long been dead as a channel that airs history related things.

Watching some of their documentaries or series from the 90s early in the morning was peak comfy. I even ironically enjoyed some of the conspiracy ones because of how nuts they could get. I don't really watch it anymore because whenever I try to see if anything worthwhile is on there it's always just pawn stars.
