I think now is the time we should have a black Superman. Henry Cavill failed to connect with audiences as Superman, so now is the perfect time to bring in a brand new Superman. I can think of no better apology for real life slavery than to allow the white corporation owners of Time Warner who own DC comics and Superman to allow a black man to be the most powerful and most iconic superhuman on the earth. The struggle of black men parallels the struggle of Clark Kent on Earth, and I could also see a re-imagining of Krypton as an all black planet far advanced to Earth, with the first humans on earth in African actually being Kryptonians that landed here thousands of years ago.
This movie would really make people talk about DC movies again in the same league as Marvel, who has destroyed DC constantly for that past few years, because DC failed to be as progressive and inclusive as Marvel, and the huge success of Black Panther shows a black Superman movie would have a great chance of turning things around for DC.
Honestly, with what is going in the hollywood bussiness, I believe DC would rush in to jump on the blackface bandwagon and inevitably smash their face into the ground fucking up the basics
