A thorough doc on Woodstock 99 would be great, it was a geat depiction of america and the teenage angst of the time, and was a hilarious contrast against what the original woodstock was really about.

Limp Bizkit doc though? who gives a fuck.

>Limp Bizkit doc though? who gives a fuck
kid, take my advice, you dont want to step into a big pile of shit

Netflix would make it be a 6 hour long doc for at most a 2 hour documentary

kino

obviously the thread is about woodstock and not limp bizkit

Been treated like shit

Imagine having to go the shitter. That's why I don't like big crowds.

you'd just shit in the middle of the crowd, dog

lmao numetal is the worst genre of music you can listen to

what does it say about society when woodstock 69 was peace love and jimi hendrix and woodstock 99 was
youtube.com/watch?v=jR88BgYMlbQ

what does it say now that if there was another woodstock, it would be emo rap

That's a zoomer opinion. numetal has a lot of bad, and some good. There are genres that have a higher percentage of doggy doo

>shit-tier nu-metal
>nigger nationalists as the Peace patrol
>MTV
>pepsi ads everywhere
>boomer music festival for gen-xers
>shitty drugs

I am glad it turned into a rape riot, glad it turned a shovel full of shit onto the grave and began the decline of music festivals. Now all we have are even shittier EDM crap. Push it closer to the edge, bit by bit, feels good, niggers

>the only good thing about back then

>not mentioning that water bottles were like $20

Never liked Limp Bizkit that much but that was a fun era. Really angry angsty music with bands like Korn and then rap metal blowing up with Linkin Park. Everything was colorful too. Lots of red and orange clothes.

of course they rioted. I remember seeing a doc about wrestling when it was popular, and all the fans being interviewed said shit like, "everything sucks nowadays", and that was def the feeling since media and music felt really over corporatized by the late 90s.

jesus christ I get weird feelings just looking at that picture
imagine bein in the middle of the crowd what the fuck

69 was a reaction to the unbridled chaos looming on the horizion, 99 was a reaction to the complete lack of it.

korn and all the other uprising nu-metal bands were a psyop
society was on the brink of actual civil unrest it was looming more than it was brooding
so they put out this garbage so gen x could vent their hatred and rage through the music consumed

What about 94?

Attached: Mud-Woodstock-94.png (980x653, 1.37M)

What is some must watch Woodstock kino? I'm not particular about the time year wise as long as its a good set.

Imagine listening to fm radio and all of the decent stuff you’d hear from 92-95. Now imagine all of the garbage you’d hear from 97-99. It went from Nirvana and biggie to Backstreet boys and nsync

I wanna go back

>rave starts at 1:45 with Moby headlining after Bush
Fug. Pls let me go back in time.

Woodstock was always about getting the biggest artists at that time to play there. Every single one.

If only they could comprehend the Hell that awaited them.

ease up on the acid there

Unrelated, god damn did she have a fine set of tits

ic what u did there.

That's why they had the fake "indie" scene in the 2000s. The major labels would create new small subsidiary companies so it looked like the bands were on some small label.

Nirvana is pop garbage though

it's true
all of it

>korn and all the other uprising nu-metal bands were a psyop
No they aren't. They are just more proof that music has gotten lazier as time has gone on, and major labels want that because it's easier for them to shit out albums.

great concert

They've been doing this from the start. When Taylor Swift blew up everyone talked about her like she was a simple midwest farm girl that made it big when she's obviously highly connected and wealthy from the start.

It's always that underdog image music labels sell.

That's not what the mushrooms told me
Your acid is lying, friendo

Korn had some really great songs though but a lot of their album was indeed full of filler.

I don't know about other states, but in California it's usually Outside Lands and Coachella now thats whats in.

EDM and Raves are whats big now in the bigger cities in California.

Sure, but what’s better, Pearl jam and nirvana, or christina aguilera and 98 degrees? You be the judge

wtf everyones white

>he doesn't know

Holy KINO. Moar please.

you cannot get more 90s than this

Attached: lineup.jpg (500x703, 77K)

Not really

1997-2001 was shit yes save for the occasional bright spot. But after 9-11, the music industry started to back away from teenybopper/new metal and started pushing regular rock and alt rock again. White Stripes, Interpol, Killers, The Strokes, etc came about and were pushed hard as an enema to wipe away the taint of 1997-2001. N'Sync died and Justin Timberlake was given an album meant for Michael Jackson to record, Brittany started collaborating with producers to produce pure electronica dance music, plus the second wave of modern electronica coming out.

Also, VH1 actually did a Behind the Music special on Woodstock 99 and that multi-part history of metal series extensively interviewed Durst and placed Woodstock 99 as "the end of rap-rock".

james brown feels out of place

>be me at show with 20+ bands
>stay in front, getting utterly smashed into the front-most gate
>fucking ouch
>too excited to lose spot, let alone ever have to so much as piss
we used to have some great shows at the parks downtown

>woodstock 99 was the end of rap rock
So you’re just being a pseud, huh? Getting your info from vh1? Limp bizkit and korn would release albums after woodstock 99 and would both be massive successes. Chcolate starfish is the fastest selling album of all time. Quickest to platinum, whatever. Linkin park hadnt even released their first album yet. Rap rock died in 2002/2003

>not rap
You sorry nigger.
>a lot of bad, and some good
That's the truth.

the only thing that's true is that it's your opinion

Fuck wypipo music
Glad this shitty timeline came to an end

This KILLS the zoomer

late 90s was an attempt of niggerfying all the white artist.
they realized that will never work and with black artist they will make even more money because whites will listen to that shit, as do non-whites
it was the last hurrah for all the "white" music

Woodstock 99 is a great contrast with Woodstock 94.

youtu.be/3zSbY4hps2s?t=55
>@ 00:55 lmao

A shitty line up which attracted shitty fans, and a lack of cheap and available acid were responsible for the vibe of Woodstock 99.

Whenever I'm at concerts it's usually dark, so I just open my fly and non-chalantly piss right where I'm standing. Usually on the pants of the guy standing in front of me. Nobody ever notices. Probably wouldn't be able to take a shit though.

>mfw looking back at the bands that played
Netflix get on that shit

Attached: 1452874308540.jpg (500x500, 46K)

I remember watching the 1994 woodstock as a kid, we had an illegal cable box and i think it was pay per view w/ just the highlights on Mtv. Is that right or am i misremembering?

It was fucking cool thogh even if i was only like 9

true, i forgot the whole lineup of 99 consisted of bands singing lyrics about peace & love & anti war, it was totally different than 69's songs about fucking bitches, breaking shit and how they hated their lives.

don't forget the commercialisation

Huh?

youtube titties at 1:45 & 2:28

Attached: 1477352850080.png (409x382, 168K)

woodstock 94 was 2 more days of peace love drugs sex and cool music w/ a reasonable amount of commercial shit.

woodstock 99 was mtv spring break rules! fuck yeah dude bro!!!

5 years apart but it feels like different decades.

Anyone got the high quality Moby one and 99?

this post made me check if fred durst died

youtube.com/watch?v=PSKYPCTKd2E

>rap
Nowadays it is pretty shitty but in 90s i personally liked it's attitude.

We was real gangstas back in the olden days, oversensitive zoomers won't understand

Absolutely mental in every way. That groove is unreal too.

I just want prime Britney Spears back.

Attached: Britney-Spears.jpg (400x400, 58K)

>nookie
I never knew what that meant, but apparently it was weird proto-zoomer slang for an intense case of the hemorrhoids.

what happens when you become a puppet for the most evil mindfuckers on the planet

Festivals today are basically Disneyland. Safe, overly organized and yes we have vegan hotdogs.
At least the sound equipment is better so that you can actually hear the music.

Kino. American Badass is my guilty pleasure.

youtube.com/watch?v=mt84J7U75e0

even back then when i was 10 i saw right thru it, the niggerification of music and fashion with all those awful baggy pants and mimicking niggers from mtv... just look at malcolm in the middle, the show about white niggers.

it means fucking

if you have a piss fetish there is no better place to go than a festival.

women will unironically just either piss themselves or pop a squat to stay and watch a mediocre band. it's incredible

Or you can just concede that the 90s were the commercialization of underground music in general, so the labels could sell you pop acts as some kind of rebellion or novelty. Unlike the previous decades, truly important acts of 90s (if there were any) are not recognized by the general public. By the 2000s, you didn't even need that stuff to sell music, so the trash culture emerged. This decade is just a continuation of it.

You had one of NINs worst shows
youtube.com/watch?v=GJ-w0TAE-mQ

>That guy who goes in for a grant of MOMMY MILKIES at 2:55
A fuckin legend

The 90s were all about killing all subculture and promoting individuality. When the 2000s came around you had h&m selling pink t-shirts with "punk" in rhinestone on them.
The only scene that was never brought into the fray of it was rivetheads. Probably because there was no angle to it.

god damn... must suck to be a producer fucktoy

we get it user
black people bad

her reaction is nice
firmly puts his hand away
>please don't touch me thank you

Are you incontinent? Can you not go 3 hours without shitting your pants?

Woodstock 99's anger was completely justified.

quiet trumper

>94
I'm guessing they had grunge acts which are infinitely better than nu-metal shit

not sure who is more retarded in that situation:
>guy with his stupid face forever on video how he sexual assaults someone
>slut who needs to get her flabby tits out

I don't give a fuck about you and your generation

She needs to pump out some babies to size them up to perfection.

wow i always wanted a female to pee on me.

Fuck off, festival riots are based

Except in europe.

>Nearly half of female festival goers (43%) under 40 say they have faced unwanted sexual behaviour at a music festival, a new survey suggests.

> faced unwanted sexual behaviour
yup that's me people keep telling me to have sex

>tfw her kids are older now than she was in this video

I wanna go back
