Rei rising out of the Earth right as the full weight of the chorus kicks in is the most kino moment in the entire series. It's too bad the audio mixing in the Japanese and the new dub isn't as good as in the old dub.

I've convinced 3 people to watch this show and all of them disappointed me. Two of them legit didn't understand EoE and kept trying to make connections to the bible, and one of them thought it was super overrated and was only good visually. It hurts too much to try and connect with people through this show, so I'm just gonna run away if an opportunity presents itself again.

The mass produced Evas weren't finished and deployed until EoE and when Shinji tried to enter Unit-01, he couldn't board it due to the red quick-dry cement shit until it activate by itself and let him on board. As soon as he got it deployed, Asuka was kill and seeing her dead caused him to accidentally start the Third Impact.

There’s a lot of engineering and design feats in Eva whereas dragon ball is just a couple ripped dudes fighting on a grassy plain

Because it was made 20 years ago and todays production value has gone way up. The movie still uses plenty of stills while in dbs broly, the animation is constantly moving and crisp. Dbs is for brain dead entertainment but it had amazing animation and quality, not saying that evangelion didnt, just one is clearly more dated.

This is like saying steven universe is better animated than BTAS. Like I said, EoE has names, people who are masters of the craft. Iso's contribution alone is iconic. Show an animator this, and they'll tell you they lack the ability to replicate it.
