It is decent on its own merits, and also does a good job of recalling the original poster in a clever way.

The clouds, the sky and the sea make absolutely no sense, so it only looks good from a distance. The runners, the kneeling guy, that steep shore... it's just a mess and has nothing to do with the film. My biggest issue is with those completely unnecessary birds. They are huge and fairly "close" but they lack any sort of definition. Also, they project no shadows.
