Post the exact moment you turned off Game of Thrones and never watched it again
end of season 4
fucking two months after it stopped airing apparently
bad pooooooooossy
Do you think D&D actually had some sort of elaborate plan for the Sand Snakes, but then they had to scuttle it when they saw how much everyone hated them?
here
Those tits saved that season. Seriously the best looking pair I've ever seen on tv
It was a couple of episodes into season 6, when I realized that season 5's quality drop wasn't just a hiccup.
OP's post sucks because 99% of us watched the whole thing out of resignation/morbid curiosity. Instead, post the exact moment when GoT DIED for you. Dorne being a complete fuckshow did it in for me.
I think so.The entire Dorne plot basically went out the window. They take over and then what's the impact after that?
This
Stannis dying.
When Jon snow came back to life just because
>Do you think D&D actually had some sort of elaborate plan for the Sand Snakes
they didn't
Dorne was a last minute subplot added in haste while most of filming on season 5 was already done so they could give the actress who plays Ellaria Sand, Indira Varma, (who they are big fans of) something to do and show her off as part of the "star-studded" cast
> dis
The episode where they brought Jon back from the dead.
It's well documented that Dorne was a last minute addition to Season 5 and required multiple hasty rewrites to be worked into the season, which suffered as a result. From the costumes to the choreography to the casting, it was all added with no time to spare. Then they noticed they had butchered it too much and innediately tried to cauterize the wound by killing every single Dornishman and woman of note.
>post the exact moment when GoT DIED for you
Pic related was probably the first sign that something had gone terribly wrong.
Season 5 should have consisted entirely of Tyrion and Jorah's road trip to Meereen. Those two traveling together was hilarious.
roll credits!
Jon after resurrection should've come back a ruthless dragonlord with all the knowledge and experience that goes along with it. and with red eyes like ghost.
Good job, OP, because episodes 3, 4, 5 and 6 were way, way worse.
I watched seasons 1 & 2 but put off watching the rest for a long time because I was a bookfag but then when it became obvious the fat fuck was never going to finish another book I decided to turn to the show for some level of closure.
Got most of the seasons on dirt cheap from a pawn shop, watched everything up through season 7 and despite the obvious decline in writing quality figured I'd watch S8 because at least there'd be some well-done battle scenes and hopefully some not completely shitty resolutions to the various plotlines.
Then I watched in horror as everyone almost universally shit on season 8, now I'm not sure I should even bother, especially since I know what happens anyway and it all sounds so unsatisfying. So now it's either follow through with the shit tv ending nobody likes or wait for the books which are never coming. I invested all this time basically for nothing.
if only
The end of the finale
once I read the description of s8e2
but I still skipped through and watched Bells and the burning of KL and the rest of the season
if I had to pick a moment at which I would have stopped watching if I had self-respect, it would be the leaked version of s7 when they pulled up the dragon by giant iron chains by zombies without smelting tech
Yeah don't bother
>s8e2
that and the first episode of the season were actually alright, in terms of actual dialogue. Hell, episode 2 was the best episode of the season as far as I'm concerned. It's the last 4 episodes where everything falls apart.
Those 2 episodes are pure filler in a 6 episode season where they're trying to cram like 3000 pages. Nothing fucking happens in them, every character acts retarded and conversations are wasted potential that go nowhere, it's like they're stalling for time
I got to season 3 I think and just could barely pay attention to the plotlines so I stopped. The first season was clearly superior to those that followed.
>in the game of thrones you win or die
I stopped watching at the end of the last episode in season eight. However, it was irredeemable past season three.
>jon snow kind of forgot that when you play the game of thrones you win or you die
The dragon riding scene in 8.2 was the worst thing in the history of television.
Prove me wrong
>Prove me wrong
La goblina killing Night King
Almost everything 8.3 onwards
why did the wildlings go back beyond the Wall when the Wall was broken and the North was severely depopulated?
Meh it was just the Aladdin scene with dragons. There was plenty worst.
They must have. It may have not gone anywhere, but Euron murdered their plot within an episode.
Because around season 6-7 they started pretending that they haven't been spending thousands of years trying to get south of the wall.
Like everyone else is saying, D&D don't really plan
What about the Tunnel Snakes Plot point?
Season 8 makes season 7 look good by comparison. It is that fucking shit. The final season of got is so incoherent, so rushed and so poorly made that I cannot even think of an adequate comparison. It makes the Dexter, and Lost finales seem godly in comparison. It is fucking garbage. Avoid watching it if you can, you will literally get pissed off at all the logical inconsistencies and stupid shit that the characters do.
And I don't mean that in a pedantic autists way - I enjoy movies that pedant autists hate, like independence day - but seriously got s8 is just the dumbest shit I've ever seen. Don't watch it.
TUNNEL SNAKES RULE
Season 7 is much better, but Season 7 and season 8 really compliment each other in their shittiness, when you consider how season 8 just discards everything season 7 setup in like the first episode, and everything else by the end, it's almost artful. Season 8 really is something else though
Because it was home.
WE'RE THE TUNNEL SNAKES
I have literally never watched a single GoT episode.
For years I have had people tell me to watch GoT and I never did.
congratulations, you're a cultural outsider
want a medal?
And now they won't. You win?
This is REAL bravery...
I was almost like you. I could’ve just waited but I started in season 7 and i still regret the time spent on it.
I've been watching weekky since season 2, rewatched the entire show probably 6 times, I wanna die
They only venture south of the wall to raid, they loved where they lived until the zombies came, now that the threat is gone they're free to go home. And they don't have to raid anymore because Jon will establish trade, etc.
What about my Trouser Snake Plot point?
THAT'S US
AND WE RULE
Sand snake arc but fuck it Obara's tits were worth it.
When Sir Sean Bean died.
When what's her cunt chained her dragons and tried to keep them in a basement.
Based as fuck
Right here. I slammed the laptop shut.
