It wasn't bad until after, so I guess it planted the seed of destruction. It was a good series finale.
>What'll it be fellas?
>Mustard?
>OR KETCHUP?
>It takes premium
This show is actually surprisingly decent for a cal arts cartoon
Movie was kino though.
Movie was great, it was supposed to be the end of the series but money happened so they kept the show going and the quality declined much more sharply from there
Feed or Sneed?
How do you think nick would have evolved had spongebob actually ended after the movie? Would they still air reruns to this day or probably not?
agreed. although there are poz moments
For whatever reason, the animated TV part of Disney seems safe from the soullessness that has plagued Disney's films and theme parks for years. Maybe Iger doesn't pay any attention to them.
...
I get so triggered by this, you shouldnt shove jesus into everything like you shouldnt shove mudslimes into everything either
They'd eventually find something else.
Definitely. Sponge bob episodes mog anything else also airing on that block, it eats up ratings like no one’s business. To be honest, I can’t imagine it actually ending at the movie. It’s a cultural phenomenon, no way were they ever going to end it there
Its amazing because its even better then CN and nick now. Amphibia is also great, though its pisses me off how star vs ended.
Havent watched Nick in years so I have no idea what shows they run now. All their animated stuff was pretty good so if they dont have anything popular now then reruns for days but if they found another popular show they would drop it.

They probably would have spent a lot of times trying to find "the next Spongebob" and likely would have ended up bringing the show back after a few years.
The loud house was good for a while until kevin sullivan ruined it.
it wouldve forced the studio to keep making nicktoons. A lot of "classic" nicktoons ended that year, and a bunch of sitcoms (like drake and josh) premiered. Overall nick would've been able to compete with cartoon network in terms of (((good))) new original shows instead of shilling spongebob 24/7 and canadian shitshows
These two characters are named Floyd and Lloyd. Someone funnier than me could probably make a good Feed and Seed joke out of that.
Why did the chair on the left only have effects of the legs hitting the wood for the first 2 times but not the third?
They would've probably picked up Adventure Time instead of sitting on it.
>They would've probably picked up Adventure Time instead of sitting on it.
>nick wouldnt have let bubbiline happen
We truely live in the worst timeline
DSnoyd and Feeoyd
Fuck you, now I'll always notice that
The most recent spongebob movie >>> the first one
Wow, thats a hot take. I enjoyed the new one too but it wasnt nearly as good as the first.
Also, did anyone else watch spongebobs birthday special? Was pretty kino.

Oh wow you weren't kidding.

It was kino
The second spongebob movie just felt like a bizarre, overly-long episode with a bunch of cgi stuffed in at the end. The first one at least felt like a movie structurally, and served as a decent finale to the series.
I didn't think the second movie was bad, but it felt like it was made by people who weren't used to putting a script together for something that needed to last over an hour.
Well look at this city slicker with his fancy German sandwich
Bump
They ran out of money
Everyone knows that the first movie was essentially the end of the show. Spongebob becomes manager and Hillenburg left the show after.
Well look at the fancy city slicker

Is ocean man the best ending song to a movie ever?
It's canonically the last event in the franchise too
Hillenberg came back later so do those episodes count too?
