haha yeah why would he just give up entirely. thor was already someone feasting and drinking all the time, but when you switch to garbage earth beer and lose all desire to do anything he would probably balloon up too. its just another character arc for one of the more powerful characters in the mcu

Fat Thor is great and makes perfect sense. Since he lives for thousands of years, everything thats happened to him feels like it happened in a week. Its also a good message, it doesnt matter if youre a fat piece of shit as long as you try and do whats right.

His old self was an entertaining character, I liked the way he talked in a medieval way and he was acting weird around humans.
