The average person isn't anywhere near as ugly as the person in the OP. Also symmetry isn't that important for attraction, it's more about how well your facial features go together with each other. For example ryan goslings face is incredibly unsymmetrical yet women still attractive because he has facial harmony.

Eh, I get your point, but facial symmetry consistently tracks very highly when it comes to attractive traits, and very ugly faces would have a lack of symmetry in addition to "disharmony". All the "average" faces in could do some menswear modelling.
