Entire film is rubbish except for ten minutes of unadulterated KINO

What the hell? The spaceship sequence is some of the best sci fi horror ever. I'd seriously just skip to that ten minute sequence when I want to show someone some fucked up horror. I want a behind the scenes thing too about how they made the ship, aliens, dissected corpse, etc.

you had to be around for the story surrounding it

the movie was for people who craved more

ufo were big in the 90s, I go to sleep with ufo docus on because when I was kid they were always on tv at night

Some user posted on another thread that the whole Walton thing happened not far from where he lived and it made him paranoid for years about stepping out more than few yards from his house in the dead of night lest these ayyy fucking shits abduct him.

this movie fuck me up when i was like 10 years old in the 90's , i started to sleep with the drapes over my head, tougth if theses fuckers came to my house they wouldnt see me.What fuck me up was they said in the movie it was a true story and all of the ppls involved passed the lie detector so i believed its was 100% real.

I honestly think him stumbling onto the dissected rotting corpse was the most fucked up aspect. And the way the actor started screaming when he stumbled into it really sold the scene and the fear the character is going through.

It's one of the most padded movies ever. Just one big drawn out "we don't know nothing" easy to film scenes. The close encounter light scene with the truck was well done, but it's very short and brief. I think we're separated from the character too long to really appreciate the horror, it's all flashback, but yea it's great. Too bad I just straight up believe the cop, it's all bullshit.

The actual story is much more interesting desu

Walton was able to fight some of them off (they actually backed off and left the room) he then managed to wander around their spaceship until he found some sort of 360 degree view planetarium where he was then escorted by Human looking aliens to a much larger ship or hangar of some sorts.

>the film was not accurate to the real Walton's account
This 'trivia' is thrown out a lot as if it means anything or somehow detracts from the actual scenes in the ship. It really doesn't. It is great, fucked up horror and I give no fucks that it completely bastardised the real guy's account.

What movie??

Also IIRC he said he thinks the aliens just wanted to patch him up because he was injured from getting too close to the spaceship.

>rubbish
Nah, the movie is good all in all.

The OP has the film's title in the file name, you blithering idiot. Even if it did not, do a image search first before asking.

Biopic when?

youtube.com/watch?v=4-It3ZyAc34

>movie has the traditional grey appearance be the spacesuits the aliens use
Another kino, creative detail Fire in the Sky had.

I thought that was really interesting too. Really unsettling.

>The actual story is much more interesting desu

He's a liar dude, he sold his book and life rights to movie. I mean, he seemingly starved and dehydrated himself for 5 days so respect to him for doing that, but he totally made it all up.

Making the ayyyes look like penis wrinkles was a weird choice.

Is it a good movie?

Communion is the one to watch but Incident at Lake County is best alien film nobody saw.

The Duane Barry episodes of the X-Files is more kino than Fire in the Sky. The scenes where they drill his teeth with lasers are kino as fuck.

>Incident at Lake County
Funnily enough I saw that as a kid and thought the whole story was bogus as fuck.

Communion fucked me up hard when I was a kid. The thought that aliens would come into my bedroom at night scared the shit out of me

On the surface it's nothing special but on repeat viewings you catch all the crazy shit like there being two little girls but the family are too caught up in the craziness to notice.

Post more alien kino

It should have a warning label to only watch it with a dog.

Fuck me I don't know why this shit always makes me start to tear up.

> Be me.
> Watch this with friends.
> Doze off at some point.
> Wake up to ear burstingly loud Sumerian.

Probably lost a year off my life thanks to that.

It was the only film that was shot in my hometown, I used to buy candy at the store where they find travis when the aliums return him. My dad had a copy on VHS and never let me watch it until years later i found it and watched it on my own. Fucking nightmares for years.
I had just gotten over it until I watch Signs when I was 11 and it fucks me up all over again.

i think i'll have to get round to watching it
i remember everyone hating it when it came out and i've kind of been hoping for someone to give it a reappraisal but i dunno why i never just found out for myself
i loved book of shadows blair witch 2 and everyone hated that i guess

Can’t believe Yea Forums tricked me into watching this pile of shit.

>Oh god these stupid cunt aliens again, baby

The actual ship enounter is the best alien scene I've ever seen.

I like to believe he was just improv rambling and it turned out amazing.

Incredibly based. Newfags and worse don't get btfo enough.

That's why the matrix stole that scene.
I remember loving that scene and being bored at the rest of the movie

>those short ayy lmaos giving him high fives n shit

KEK

UFO's were the zombies of the 90's.

So the film lies about the rantings of a delusional inbred hick alcoholic? How dare they??!!!
