Who will play him in the inevitable biopic?

Has he had a chance to go up against Alphazero yet?
I think it's time for another Human vs Computer competition.

he's currently on a hotstreak and looks to be interested in breaking the Elo record again
putting him up against alpha zero would be super interesting. he'd be lucky to get a few draws in imo

>fallen
???

He's still the World Champion and by far the strongest player in history.

If you're referring to his performance versus computers you're a fool.

That down syndrome looking Matt Damon from Breaking Bad.

i didn't make the pic lad, i just posted it because i thought it was humorous

It would be pointless. It would be like putting Usain Bolt up against a top fuel dragster. It proves nothing because the competitors are not starting on an even field.

It remains to be seen honestly, his best years of play could still be ahead of him so the actor they choose might be an old guy. Most GMs literally play until they die of old age. I don't know how you characterize him in a biopic though, he's kind of just a boring dude who absolutely rapes people in chess. He's accomplished an unbelievable amount but no one is going to want to see a biopic of the guy's life the way he is.

His story would be about how he has infused soul back into the game of chess after decades of boring literally autistic players who simply memorized deeper and deeper opening lines.

Magnus plays with guts and guile on top of incredible memory and calculation and that is why he is the world champion. He's finally bringing gamesmanship back to the game.

but that's physical limits
I think Magnus, or any human, could still outsmart a computer

Do you really think any human could beat a top chess computer at chess?

*draws 12 of 12 games in the world championship*

kramnik or one of them nearly beat a computer in some big tournament like 10 years ago but he fucking missed a mate in 3 or something like a retard and ended up playing some stupid 30 move losing endgame

meth damon

There are physical limits to chess too. One of the reasons Magnus is dominant is his ability to remain physically unstressed over long periods of time that weaken his human opponents.

The myth that chess is 100% a mindgame is something that people who don't play very much chess believe in.

it's possible, I'm sorry you took it in a literal sense that your next door neighbor could beat alphazero, but I'm saying MAN has the willpower to do accomplish something otherwise determined to be impossible

He's been losing against teenagers

That's chess.

They need to start adding further constraints to the computer games, either in the form of power consumption limits, or total play time in training for the machine. The computer is orders of magnitude less efficient than a human player and while it's novel that one can win against a human, it's also somewhat undermined by the fact the computer is consuming huge amounts of energy relative to the human and playing hundreds of human lifetimes worth of games against a perfect opponent.

Teenagers can be monstrous players. And the greatest players lose in casual or low-stakes games on a regular basis. They learn from it.

Or just forget the silliness to begin with. Computer vs computer is fine btw.

The computer games are fun to watch when the odds aren't hopelessly stacked against the human player. Computer vs computer is the most who gives a fuck type of promotional event I can imagine. There's zero emotional content, and thus absolutely nothing to keep you invested.

he played like a fucking coward for most of that though, it wasn't just chess

>WOMEN HATE ME

why would women hate him

>proceeds to btfo ameritard in tie-breaker
