Well the show never mentioned a Great Others but as this is George's ending I'm trying to extrapolate the meaning of it all and apply it to the books. At the very least the Lord of Light was mentioned and Melisandre, one of his servants, successfully got Arya to kill the Night King, so "Fire" technically won. Lord of Light is still being worshiped and his servants were right.

Failure to implement fAegon in S5. Many changes fucked up specific characters in some ways, buy no fAegon or substitute made the plot nonsense. Tyrion and Varys became pacifist pussies and Cersei was just in power for no reason.

I know GRRM was pissed about fAegon being axed, but he was also pretty perturbed about the absence of Lady Stoneheart. What is her function in the plot going to be in the books, and why did her absence bother GRRM so much. Whose character arc does she tie into? Is there some bookfag that can answer this for me?

So what the fuck is Arya going to do in the books? It's funny how Tyrion and Arya used to be my favorite characters in the first four seasons, but by the end of season 8 they came to represent everything that I detested about the show. No matter how psychopathic or idiotic their actions were, they never faced consequences, rather they were rewarded with hacky fan service scenes from s5 onwards. The exclusion of fAegon and Stoneheart were the death knell for this show.
