Lots of weak filler but some great moments. Last season is kinda weak, though.

There's a 2 parter that I really loved

Season 1 & 2 and great. Then it goes downhill. But is still worth checking out to the end. Not sure if it was purely the 2007–08 Writers Guild of America strike that made the end what it is, or if there really was big changes to the production team before the last season.

make sure you have the mini movies that take place between seasons. i know there is at least one, about the Pegasus, but i believe there are 2, however i havent watched BSG in a long time, so i could be wrong

A high budget sci fi show literally written as improv.
About halfway through the first season they ran out of pre-planned shit, and just started free wheeling and it never, ever, ever starts making sense again. It's still entertaining until then suddenly it isn't.

Space KINO. Yes there are some weak episodes etc.. But as a whole, very much worth it.

But yes. You can skip up to 18 of the show’s 75 episodes. That’s 24% of the series! (Or if you’re really ambitious, you can skip 22 episodes!)

I unironically like the original cheese fest BSG more than the remake, although the remake has some good elements.

I liked that the show was able to do shit like fat lee and make it fun.

People complain about the ending of the remake being batshit but remember that the Mormon who originally made BSG in the sixties wanted the galactica to basically be the nephalim original humans when they eventually found earth it’s why the ship helmets are Egyptian, parts of the ship is Greek looming and they worship ancient Gods, the idea being that ancient antediluvian culture was invented by them and became our ancient civilisations after the flood. So the ending didn’t come out of nowhere, it was always a weird Mormon element of BSG

Everyone on the show did perform well, but Olmos' acting was on a completely different level compared to everyone else.
