the show is far better than the movie
Matt berry has been bad so far
>been bad
fuck no, it's just that he shines when he has more screen time, and this show is not all about him.
He's been the least funny of all characters so far
Just binged the entire thing
whaa, no idea there was a tv show. thanks OP
fucking wow OP i knew i forgot something.
The movie was bad and the TV show was worse
Also you typed 4channel.org when you meant to type Reddit.com
Incorrect statement. Both the film and the show are very funny
Lady vampire is hot as fuck, or maybe that's just my fetish for those dresses speaking. Either way it's good.
The woe-is-me familiar shit is getting grating, though. I sure hope they focus more on the destined to be a vampire killer part
The documentary part is sloppy as fuck and it mostly feels like there isn't a camera crew around for the scenes. Most obvious during the vampire meeting.
The "emotional" vampire thing is absolutely terrible.
They could've made him a wizard or something for one episode instead of having him be a part of the regular cast.
I stopped watching after episode 5 or something like that. The movie was naive and great but I honestly despise how they took some the jokes, copied them and stretched them as thinly as possible into unfunny bullshit. Every new addition or twist is mostly just dumb.
Movie was fine but show seems reddity
It is indeed, is better than I expected it to be at least.
>look ma, I'm being a contrarian to try and fit in
>The "emotional" vampire thing is absolutely terrible.
>They could've made him a wizard or something
kys, it's actually a creative addition.
He was such a douche but funny as fuck
>They could've made him a wizard or something
Your ideas are shit.
Its modern sjw shit
watch this instead
bbc.co.uk
>he's just like the boring nerd from my workplace who never stops talking about his boring weekend!!
Fuck off, Reddit.
>Its modern sjw shit
>everything I don't like is Reddit
fuck off back to whatever shithole you came from where people are instantly triggered by everything
Seething this badly , COPE Better or your life will remain shit tier princess
>instantly triggered by everything
>kys
Really makes you think.
They took the idea of an inccubus and turned it into the shittiest version possible in order to introduce an "office" like environment into the show, so that their main demographic (people in their 30s who work or worked in offices) could relate.
Instead of making it a short bit they "creatively added" him into the main cast for God knows what reason. The character has literally one shtick and it's a bad one.
main cast good, retarded nerd side characters bad.
i thought the movie was great until i rewatched it after the show
the show is leagues better
matt berry has been kind of dissapointing.
>tfw no big puffed shoulders dress goth gf
They still haven't aired it here in Italy....even thought I would watch it in english.
wanted it to be good but it didn't make me laugh once .... entirely possible i'm turning into a humourless cunt tho, ha
hell no, the familiar and the energy vampire are funny as hell
i havent seen this but that does sound pretty funny
I stopped watching when the annoying fat girl showed up for a second episode and it was clear she was going to be a supporting character. It was pretty shit compared to the movie anyways.
Why has no one watched the other tv spinoff?
>Matt berry
>bad
nope
show is significantly worse than the movie and it's sad watching matt berry in something this bad
Agreed, I feel like I saw his entire range in the it crowd, all he can do is recycle shit.
I find him tolerable in tiny doses, but he's just insufferable as a regular character
The last episode I watched was the sex party one. It was so unfunny, the Babadook joke just made me roll my eyes. It makes no sense either way, Babadook was never a vampire. This show is too fucking lacking in direction, every episode is just a big whatever.
It started out strong but ever since Doug Jones' character died it went to shit real fast.
I never even understood how people liked him in IT Crowd. He was a clear downgrade in bosses.
I feel the opposite, he's probably my favorite main character besides Nadia, Nandor, Craig, and Guillermo
youtube.com
>They are too cute
So, he's your least favorite main character?
Oh fuck we've got a super-sleuth on our hands! While you're here, who was Jack The Ripper and The Zodiac Killer?
Aaron Kosminski and George Hodel, but that's neither here nor there with your faux-witty Reddit reply.
The vampire council was the best episode. I also like that Guillermo is a descendant of Van Helsing.
I liked the first season, mainly because of Nadja who is really good.
And episode 7 which was amazing. Movie still better tho.
All the vampire cameos were nice. The ending was weak, though.
It's a solid first season, and sets things up well. I'm hoping with it getting a second season that they will build on the base and open up more, the first season felt a little reserved with characters. It's well made and i can see it going for quite a few seasons if they can keep the writing talent and let the actors really open up, as the talent is clearly there.
Does the series do anything fun with the docu-format?
she's not in it that much
