surely some restraint is in order
>the animal kingdom is fascist
Wow maybe they should like, change or something.
>the weak shouldn't worship the strong
????????????????????????????
It's just Hamlet for kids with singing cartoon lions
Um sorry but Hamlet is extremely problematic.
Children shouldn't be teached that monarchies are good and that they have to just accept fascists in power.
>teached
We have a monarchy and a democracy, so maybe they should try not living in a complete shithole
Explain
>Disney movie is failing, lets try to stir up some controversy
Fuck OP, soi journos and Disney. There's a special place in hell for all of u.
I love how idiots think they have a choice about who rules over them, like they're just "letting" them do it
The xircle of life is inherently transphobic ok?
Wtf i love the lion king now!
>/pol/ aka the right wing is now anti democracy
What do you mean male lions can't mate with each other? It's fiction for one and it teaches kids acceptance and diversity, you phob
They're right tho. Scar did nothing wrong. He wanted all animals to be equal.
>the weak have learned to worship at the feet of the strong
Which has nothing to do with fascism in any way.
animals are not intelligent enough to construct societies of any kind, let alone fair ones
I like the original movie, but I always thought it was weird that other animals would worship the lions as their kings considering they kill and eat them. Also, why would lions be in charge? Hippos and elephants kill lions.
Than I realized the lions were Jews and it all made sense.
Progressives are mentally ill.
False just look at the US
>the scene where simba gets a white 'fro after jumping into the river
it all makes sense now
DUDE ANIMAL HIERARCHIES BASED ON THE FOOD CHAIN ARE FASCISTIC
What’s more fucked up is that the bugs in the movie are equally as sentient yet are treated as more morally righteous to eat than actual lion food
>Herbivores should stand up to carnivores
Did WaPo always have the cringy tagline
There was a time where the hyenas were literally niggers and Scar was the eternal Jew, so the Pridelands were an ethnostate whereas the Elephant Graveyard was a shithole. Of course Jewnalists are upset about this.
Scar also Jewed his own people and they turned on him in the end. The parallels are beyond telling.
no
Not/pol/ but constitutional monarchy is the best system. Even Hegel knew that.
At last I see
There's a eugenic component to it that makes it fantastic
What eugenic component?
>the right-wing isn’t hierarchical
God fucking damn it I hate republicucks
I've lived in several such countries, and they're the worst of both systems brought together.
lion king has christian principles
>irl biology is innately “fascist”
Finally some common sense
It's not fascism. It is a monarchy, an outdated system of government that Americans overthrew hundreds of years ago. Doesn't mean we stop telling fairy tales about kings and queens. Morons.
Good thing no christian ever starved....
Oh well
things that don't translate 1:1 to reality make brain hurt
I thought it said fantastic.
KILL ALL LIONS NOW
MAKE LION SKIN LAMPS
i guess black people are fascist because they call each other kings and queens all the time.
No niggers, no Jews, no queers.
it stole the story of a good movie, so that's a given
no pussy, no showers, no healthy food or exercise
So let's just got to Kenya and kill all these nazi lions, give back the land to all of the animals.
I fucking hate lions. Fuck em.

Say something nice about him.
I always thought it was weird that every animal respects the lions. The only thing they really do to justify that is keeping the Hyenas out, but they're also eating the herbivores so wtf.
>commie shirt
>MAUS in the background
It's always (((them))) isn't it?
RULES OF NATURE!
"intellectual maturity of the general public"
why do white people make this face
They can't possibly cut out the most important plot point, can they? The story hinges on Scar flooding the land with refugees. Otherwise, why hate him?
Will Lion King be the next white supremacist symbol? Like the OK hand gesture or milk-drinking?
"But don't you see? We need to give all our money and power to (((them))) because the Lioncaust was very bad and terrible! Now give up your first born!"
that better be a superman red son reference
lol
Thats explain the current state of 90% of Africa. Thanks user.
It was never “just” a joke
Scardolf Hitler killed 6 gorillion lions. It's true! My great, great lionness escaped the elephant graveyard
Is that why constitutional monarchies like the UK and Sweden are doing so well eugenically?
black panther is basically a remake of the lion king except with black people instead of lions
It's so weird how people are allowed to openly express support for communism.
that's what not having a functional clean water system and nigger warlords that burn down all your schools does
Fucking animals! Why can't they be more like us?
"Stop asking questions about why they had pools in the Elephant Graveyard you bigot!"
>dude, having some fuck spend all day fucking his court is great
>those people are totes not degenerates and will uphold the virtues of society
>and heck, being governed by their kids for an eternity, meaning that good or bad you’re stuck with them, sure sounds swell!
Instead of taking Democracy back to its roots, you cucks just wanna have a King fuck your wives.
Fascism as an ideology has existed for less than a century, does this writer think there were no societies where the weak feared the strong prior to 1930?
> “The Lion King” offers us a seductive worldview in which absolute power goes unquestioned, and where the weak and the vulnerable are fundamentally inferior. In other words: “The Lion King” offers us fascist ideology writ large, and there seems to be no way out for the forthcoming remake.
>Doubling down on Disney’s historical obsession with patriarchal monarchies, it places the audience’s point of view squarely with the autocratic lions, whose Pride Rock literally looks down upon all of society’s weaker groups — a kind of Trump Tower of the African savanna. When grand patriarch Mufasa explains patiently to his son how this division of power works, he emphasizes that the king must maintain balance in their kingdom. This seems fine when we think about the environment, where “balance” sounds great. But when we consider that he’s really explaining to his own heir why it’s perfectly fine to behave dictatorially, the lions’ perspective feels a lot more unsettling.
>With the lions standing in for the ruling class and the “good” herbivores embodying society’s decent, law-abiding citizens, the hyenas transparently represent the black, brown and disabled bodies that are forcefully excluded from this fascist society. Noticeably marked by their ethnically coded “street” accents, the hyenas blatantly symbolize racist and anti-Semitic stereotypes of “verminous” groups that form an inherent threat to society.
>“Maleficent” and its forthcoming sequel changed a deeply sexist fairy tale into a feminist parable about sexual abuse, “Aladdin” made at least some attempt to mitigate the original film’s Islamophobia, “Beauty and the Beast” included one (very minor) openly gay character, the new Ariel will be a mermaid of color, and “Mulan” has been overhauled to become less offensive to Chinese audiences.
This bitch boy got trigger by KING. He would have been fine it was Lioness Queen and she'd be as much autocratic
>(((constitutional)))
ummm yikes, no thanks sweetie
Post the link.
>Scar lets in the hyenas
>they ruin society
rly makes u think
>assistant professor in Media Studies
massive respect to this lad
>thinks Lion King is a realistic portrayal of african wildlife
Stop being completely retarded please.
so the perfect movie for black incels
Yes...?
