It has some questionable moments like that shootout which is so dark you can't see shit. Also the intro sequence looks like a PS1 game, don't judge the movie by it. The story and characters are interesting and maybe look up the backstory of the production. Basically a guy wanted to be a director so he worked four jobs to raise money, and made this movies from like 200k aussie dollars.
