4 episodes in, why is it so loaded with stereotypes? Or is America really like this?

I'm more perplexed as to why literally every single scene Max is in she's written to be lusting after the nigger. That's her whole character this season.

The entire premise of the show is throwing tropes in a blender. Every single aspect starts as a stereotype, so the handful they subvert later stand out more.

I would say that the fucking epileptic strobe lights and constant screaming ruined the season. It's like they wanted to give the audience a fucking seizure. They need to NEVER do that shit again. I could hardly watch the back end of the season because the constant flashing made me want to vomit.
Erica was much better as a punchline. Her scenes drag for so longlike most of the episodes this season before Dustin puts her in her place. That should've come way earlier. So much of this season was treading water and stretching material that wasn't very good to begin with. That god awful Neverending Story bit would've been fine if Dustin sang just a line and then got down to business, but they sang like half the fucking song and then called back to it later. It wasn't cute or funny either time. It really hurt the idea that these kids and adults were in any sort of danger. This season of Stranger Things felt like a parody of the show at a lot of points. It also didn't 'feel' like the show was taking place in the '80s anymore. They had the feel down pat in one and two, but really lost their way on this one. It was a mostly mediocre season that really could have been something much better.

She wasn't bad, at the begining she felt like dorty welfare queen abuseing the free sample icecream and being sassy but then she became one of the team and you realise she just kinda an aspie who probably saw some crazy black lady and coppied her to seem normal (i work with special need kids and since they are messed up the pick messed up people the pereserve to be normal as their role models) becuase her mom seemed to be nice and not a niggress. I wished they toned down her sassiness a bit and also shaved her goddamn mustache! Fuck me that thing was so gross, don't know what parents who have kids with akward facial hair own up to the fact, yes if you shave it it will grow back but what is worse a weekly shave or walking around 24/7 look like a midget.
And that is my review from the guy that keeps retarded kids from chocking on tape balls. Dark is the superior show and this show has no best girl

Half the appeal of the show is nostalgia. As in 'o god please take me back to a time when everything was simple and I understood how the world worked, I can't cope with modern politics'.
