Just saw this. It was so awesome. It’s almost a shame we didn’t get some type of supernatural series following based Jack Burton.

John Carpenter and Kurt Russell make for an extremely kino duo

>tfw wang starts flipping around beating the shit out of everyone

Planning on watching Escape From Bew York next to continue my quest for kino.

I had many fantasies about the asian whore house they visited.

At the end of the movie you see the weird monster hiding in the truck

Carpenter said that the creature would have killed Jack eventually.
So no sequel ever

That’s an odd thing to say. Considering everything Jack went through, I doubt that clumsy monster would manage to do anything.

If youre looking for kino,I advise to not watch that one

they couldve made some sequels with other mitologies like little Japan or India
also shouldve called Kurt Russell to appear in Ghost of Mars instead of Icecube

Still watch it every once in a while,it was fucking great.

I must have seen this 10,000 times when I was a kid. Still rewatch it every other year.
When I was a teen I used to imagine directing a sequel which would somehow occur in some parallel medieval China with folklore monsters and shit (yeah I also loved the Chinese Ghost Story series) but I don't remember the details

I think they said that on the commentary or an interview
But i remember they said he would die.

How do I get a green eyed asian gf bros?

that's stupid. they should have been buddies, like han and chewie

man that's brilliant

it's too slow for zoomers

Carpenter changes his mind about shit constantly.
For a long time he considered the Thing comics by Darkhorse as a canon sequel to his movie, and rightfully so they're faithful to the movie.

Currently theirs a Big Trouble comic following Jack that starts up right after the movie ends that Carpenter has had involvement with making that's pretty good too

>dat prime Kim Catrall

Not really, if you watched the film Jack doesn't really do anything, he bumbles through the whole film without doing anything helpful and he constantly messes up and makes the situation worst, that's why he's self importance is so dumb. It's the Asian guys who fix the problem, Jack just stands there looking pretty. So of course he'd die on his own.

He did the knife trick and managed to handle a gun. He’s still pretty tough.
