I enjoyed 3 way more than 2. All 3 seasons follow the same formula: 40% warmed up horror and mystery adventure movie tropes, 40% nostalgia circle jerk, 10% appealing characters and performances, 10% polished production. Season 2 was like a rehash of Season 1, including the same threats in form of just dog gorgons. Season 3 earned a lot of points going for the whole bodysnatcher/mind control/flesh monster angle, which was more interesting and high-stakes than just "There is this onion headed monster thing". The thing about Season 3 that still irked me a bit is the relative long amount of time, until anyone starts realizing that some supernatural shit is afoot again. You'd think by now, as soon as anything weird happens, the maincast would arm up and link up. But we need that slow burn mystery segment where different groups of characters slowly unravel the events from different approaches.

It's not that bad, but there are some things that are worse than before: Every single scene has some goofy music playing, making it hard to take a lot of the dialogue seriously. The creepy vibes are almost entirely gone and have been replaced with lame gory moments. The whole evil Russians plot thing is too cliché. The little sister is obnoxious as fuck. How did this season go so wrong?
Characters for the most part took a step back in development, the plot was terrible, the CGI was bad, trump references because orange man bad,..
Very forgettable season, some characters (max, dustin, will, lucas) need to get axed, they're dead end characters whose screentime is wasted on

This. The writers of this show have been poorly telegraphing everything since episode 1.

It was terrible. Writing was awful. Actors constantly scream and yell for no reason. Nostalgia jerk offs constantly. Tons of plot holes. Boring done again plot. Horrible camera work. Cringe scene at the end. Anyone who likes it is a plenty tourist that would eat shit out of a box if they packaged it right.

The vibe coming from Robin in her last scene in the season definitely did not seem aromantic towards Steve. It would probably seem like a copout if she comes out as bi in S4, but I'm still hoping because it can give Steve and Robin some additional screentime and character progression.
