What's the way the gun takes?
We know that Boris/Aleksander buries it in 1986, then Hannah finding it and keeping it until 2019 and Adam using it to shoot Martha 1.0. Is it also the same gun that is used to kill Noah?
fpwp
>The Chad Pleasure to Kill
vs
>The Virgin Should I stay or should I go
Adult Jonas is actually from a different reality which explains his eye color. Martha 2.0 also has blue instead of brown eyes.
And now I wonder what this means for Claudia and her heterochromia.
>Look at that Incel, Katarina.
cool theory but Jonas would've called his older self out on the eye thing
I know he's retarded but not that retarded
M-mommy, d-daddy, don't you love me anymore?
>S1 handsome boy Mads Nielsen dead
DROPPED
Adult Jonas blatantly has a different eye color. Jonas is a bit more on the autistic side, though. So he might not be comfortable to look people in the eyes too much.
user,
Adult Jonas is actually Mads Nielsen
So past present and future so far all remain unchangeable thus far
Are alternate dimensions going to be able to change their dimension, or will it just be dimension hopping? I don't want to have a year for this
Those boys are relentlessly handsome.
but Mads' child body was found dead, my guy
They speak of "cycles". Each cycle changed something. See
Oops I accidentally went full retard in that post, hope y'all know what I meant
Hey Katharina? Is it weird at all that your son looks exactly like my husband when he was a kid?
NOBODY EXPECTS THE FRENCH DELEGATION
TELL ME ABOUT WÖLLER
WHY DOES HE WEAR THE PATCH?
Yes, is same gun
Nobody cared about who he was until he was revealed as Aleksander's goony when he was asked to dig up dirt on Ulrich or drive away that truck with the nuclear waste.
Oh noooo, i got my leotard all sweaty
Fellas, all the dead kids eyes are burned out because something to do with alternate Dimension eye color changes. We won't know what Universe the dead kids are from because their eyes have been utterly incinerated. It is possible the machine that Noah and adam were working on, was not in fact time-travel tomfoolery, but some kind of Dimension Hopper.
Is there any significance to the tranny lot lizard character, or is it just some forced diversity?
Aww, crap. I could actually see this happen now. Also, Mads was never properly identified as well expect by a short glance of Ulrich.
Did Claudia manage to fuse her different versions into one? Is that what her different eye colors represent?
That's wollers brothersister so I bet it has something to do with his story line which has only been alluded to
never gave that eye theory a lot of thought but the more I read these posts the more sense it makes
holy shit
That would make sense. Or perhaps she is the genetic product of a pairing of two parents from different universes. Or maybe she is the only Claudia, somehow, when there are supposed to be two.
This is genuinely going to become the greatest series of all time, isn't it?
The french delegation will have its due...
Probably Hannah gave that gun to Agnes
She did tell us about a world without Jonas, though. And we have seen alternate reality Jonas as an adult. We never got confirmation he actually reaches adulthood in the world shown or even reaching Adam's age. So it's either multiple worlds or just two which would be more fitting for the sic mundis knot symbol of the timeline splitting and then getting back together.
I could see it becoming a cult classic like Twin Peaks. But right now it's still criminally underwatched and the first half of S1 is also the ultimate pleb filter. This is why Stranger Things and other mediocre shows will always drown it out.
The French delegation is the key to all of this
they wanted a universe where the meeting was never put off
fucking frogs
They still want their meeting with Claudia yes. This is why some agents of the french delegation are still lurking about next to the plant in 2053.
We are the french delegation.
We do not forget.
We do not forgive.
Also, it's a foreign show. Most audiences have to watch it with subtitles or the horrible dub - and the German audience simply isn't used to watching German series since almost all of them in the past were boring pieces of shit that never tried anything different. In fact the worst reviews of the series come from Germany. People here really criticize it to hell and back.
NOOOO
RESCHEDULE IIITTTTTTT
>we do not baguette
>Bartosz telling everyone in school Jonas was in Paris hiding baguettes
IT'S ALL CONNECTED
I'm starting to worry my IQ may not be high enough to follow this show once the alternate dimensions start coming into play. It's already hard to keep up
Stop posting frogs and maybe your IQ will improve a bit.
It's my favourite series for sure.
The first two seasons were just so damn great, and apparently they have the ending planned. That means it's not even going to draw out and turn to absolute shit like many other originally great series.
I just hope they nail the ending like they have done with the series until now.
The French delegation has been dealt with
>The less I know the better starts playing
>France has fucking 58 operational nuclear reactors today
WHAT KIND OF DELEGATION ARE WE TALKING ABOUT
I'm scared of the ending. Almost no show ever got that right.
Twin Peaks S3's ending felt the most insulting in recent years but it took me a while to realize it was actually a great ending because it was so insulting.
But I dunno what I want more of D S3: It all connecting just as planned or Jonas breaking the cycle. I honestly can't tell.
French delegation for nuclear safety of course. No wonder the power plant blew up in the end:^)
I'd like to think that there is a chance to break the cycle with the alternate universes coming to play and stirring up the timeline in different ways. Then again it could also just be a part of Adam's plan, and also happened to him.
I mean, if Jonas didn't get saved by in the house by alternate universe Martha, there would be no way he would live that situation and become Adam. Unless Adam somehow did it a different way, and the apocalypse is actually what caused his scarring.
Reminder that ''Jonas'' isn't Jonas.
What would be necessary to give this show a "happy" ending, e.g. all the kids alive, all the characters born and alive, Aleksander Köhler alive, Helge not beaten?
So far all the hints we have been dealing with multiple realities since the very beginning:
>eye color being very important
>Jonas and Martha having different eye colors in their adult / not dead versions
>Claudia's heterochromia
>adult Jonas exclaiming he is the only thing not right
>Claudia telling Jonas she's seen a world without him
>children's eyes being burned to obscure their actual identity / original world they come from
>characters talking about changing the past but then coming to the realization that certain things must happen for their own timeline to work
>"cycles" of the time machine being taken back to 1921 and being improved up to a point to which Adam now has a time machine that isn*t bound to the 33 years
Any more hints I missed? I'm starting to thing it's not a loop but a knot of different alternate realities that keep happening to influence each other.
While adult "Jonas" could be someone else I think his care for Martha is portrayed too genuine for him to be anyone else. But it's very possible he's from a different reality.
can't tell me it ain't so
Jonas goes delusional in psychiatric care following his father's suicide and it's all in his head
I wonder if different eye color means that the family trees of the alternate universe are different but the resulting people are still similar.
>when the parents had a boy instead of a girl
Also, the school doors are black instead of orange.
fuck me I don't want to have to wait a year goddammit
Boris is a son of Jonas and Martha. He gets his gun from his father, who then gets it from Hannah in 2020
I really hope we get some amazing loops and knots through different realities all intersecting each other through an advanced time machine. Shit could be the time travel series to end all time travel series if they manage to pull it off.
I think it would help to trace the way of the time machines:
Cycle 1: The mechanical one built by Tannhauser. It is used to actually create the time rift of the god particle.
Cycle 2: The improved god particle time machine Adam uses at the end of S2. It will lead to:
Cycle 3: The pocket version that now allows to travel to alternate dimensions
I think really tracing the origins and ways of the time machines through the timeline would reveal a lot of things that are going on.
Martha Nielsen+Jonas Kahnwald=Boris NieWald
Holy fuck. If this is true, Martha was dating her nephew, then her grandson. She is pretty unlucky with all the incest in her relationships.
Though then again, I guess the whole town's family tree is a huge knot of temporal incest with people being their own grandmothers and all :DD
Bartosz had the hots for Martha too
Which is why he becomes Adam to get revenge after 66 years on Jonas for fucking the girl he himself had wanted.
>there will be a version of Wöller in the series in which he has lost his left eye instead of the right
Is this or the shit Hanna did better psycho-bitch revenge?
her grandson?
I'm still rooting for Hannah as the worst person of this series. But forging a 66 year plot for getting back to the guy whole stole your gf might take the cake if it turns out to be true.
1920/21 - Adam (formerly Jonas) has the gun
1953/54 - now it belongs to Boris, his son
1986/87 - Boris time travels to 80s, take an identity of Alexander Köhler, get a job at the power plant to prevent dark matter from leaking and break the cycle
2019/20 Köhler' brother fails his plans by opening the barrels
Bartosz
oh yeah, I thought you were confusing boris with bartosz.
Bartosz is the son of Aleksander Tiedemann=Boris Niewald, so if Boris really is the son of Martha and Jonas, that makes Bartosz Martha's grandson
There are signs pointing to Agnes having been married to Noah but wasn't she also calling him her brother? Did I mix something up?
Maybe Noah liked mixing it up *winkwink*
But srsly, Noah seemed so happy with Elisabeth
Loli Elisabeth is best girl don't (You) me
Same gun, but there are only like five guns in Germany. Hence no big coincidence.
Reminder. Last scene S3 is the first scene S1
There's only one gun but it has traveled through time so many times that everyone in Germany now has held it. Also, I missed the scene in which adult Jonas used it to threaten Martha into the bunker with it.
This is Noah btw.
someone please post the jonas wojak
The Jonas Brothers
>Martha 2.0 also has blue instead of brown eyes.
Really?
Yes.
>Jonas taller than Jonas
>Adam is the same size as Jonas
Jonas is not Jonas, idiots.
He's Jonas but from an alternate dimension. "The only thing not right here ... is me."
For neither neverrrrr nor neverrrrr goodbye
Fuck I always miss this threads
Adam is Mikkel after he hangs himself. Mikkel likea to paint and is influenced by his foster mum who is religious hence the painting he stares at.
So when is Jonas bagging Hanna from the alternate timeline.
S3E3
Based.
underrated post
The funny thing is mid-age Jonas actor is 33 years older than young jonas actor.
ITS ALL CONNECTED
Coincidentaly, 33 minutes is the duration my dick was hard after every Franziska sex scene.
Double that for naked ass & tits in the lake
JESUS CHRIST he's right.
Plus I think it wouldn't just be 1 alternate dimension but 2 so that we have 3 parallel worlds.
What if the different times we saw in season one were not only different times, but different universes as well?
I love this show. Some of the characters are kind of retarded, though. Especially Hannah, but especially Ulrich. I hope they can pull off the last season.
That might be plausible and would explain why there are some things that are just "off".
Can someone give me a rough timeline of the tunnel in the cave?
In my understanding it goes something like this:
> 1921: tunnel under construction, time travel only via time travel device
> 1953: tunnel functional, crawl left for 1986, right for 2019 or something
> 1986: tunnel functional, crawl left for 1953, right for 1986
> 2019: tunnel functional, old Jonas wants to destroy it, but inadvertedly activates it by triggering his device inside the tunnel
Apart from that, time travel is possible via suitcase device withing the 33y loop or to any given time via Adam's stationary device that controls the big orb.
That sound about right?
Bros do you watch the show in original german or english?...btw how the fuck is possible for someone to not remember you saw and interacted for a long time with a kid that looks exactly how your kid looks nowdays
Did they?
Young Ulrich saw Mikkel like once and young Claudia treated him like an asshole
none of the adults are very bright if you havent noticed
>Ulrich "Just Fuck My Shit Up" Nielsen
German, its juts better
Well, would you seriously think "my kid looks like that one kid that was around when I was young 33 years ago - must be a time traveller"?
Imagine having all the know-how and resources to be a god in the past only for reality to fuck your shit up.
Why didnt mikkel just bought apple amd microsift imb amazon stocks and a couple millions of bitcoins?
>btw how the fuck is possible for someone to not remember you saw and interacted for a long time with a kid that looks exactly how your kid looks nowdays
Realistically, moments like that would be a blur for most people unless you get real close and intimate and that's where the real problems start. Hannah and Mikkel are good examples for this, I'm impressed she didn't go /ss/.
Based
He's a kid stuck in buttfuck nowhere, Germany in the 80s. By the time that he could get money to start investing he would've been too late. That's not counting his moms that's drugging him.
Bullshit excuse for poor writing, he could have done it at any point after turning 18, just get literally any job for a few months, buy bitcoin at start and sell at 20k. He had decades to invest in anything he wants but didn't.
Is there any hard proof (except music and cultural aspects) that Winden exists in our real world? The only hints that there's a world outside of Winden is the cop Clausen and the mention that Boris came from Marburg.
Well have you thought about the fact that all his life is build around a secret and that he maybe developed a mental illness (i.e. depressions)? Maybe he just locked the memories of his former life in the deepest corner of his mind and began to think that it was all a dream.
and we still don't know how he lost it.
I'm calling it though: he has heterochromia and is possibly Claudia's kid. More keks if it's Elisabeth's.
Also, he's 10 years old and has probably no idea what happened on the financial and/or tech sector in the 90/00/10s
>A child who disappeared from 1986 at 11 years old will know to buy bitcoin, which came around 2009
No, this is your brain on poor writing.
Maybe the realization that his future self wasn't rich?
I expect that to happen, but the radio plays another song, so it's implied that they managed to break the cycle a tiny bit
because he didn't buy it
Ohohohohooo
Post yfw we find out next season when eye color turned out to be the most important small detail on this show.
Btw who renamed him Michael?
Was that part of some kind of therapy for his emotional trauma?
Ines might have been visited by someone to make it happen.
I wonder how much did she know, did Mikkel ever open up to her, did she draw her own conclusions, i mean she must‘ve recognized Mikkel as young Michael before he went back in 2019, her grandson was boning his sister
Who is she?
Also, who are all these people with Elisabeth if there were only like 5 people in a bunker who have survived + 4 Reisenden (Magnus, Franziska, Bartosz, bearded Jonas)?
People from outside of Winden?
Did the apocalypse actual destroy the whole earth or just the region around Winden?
Season 1 Episode 5
>Mikkel: There is no such thing as magic, just illusion. Things only change when we change them. But you have to do it skillfully, in secret, then it seems like magic.
With an alternate dimension introduced at the end of Season 2 I think its possible that the timeline can be changed by adding or removing different elements to the timeline from another world but its only possible to create small changes with each cycle.
Some of the dialogue between her and Jonas seemed to hint at her also being a time traveler. She also has the huge scar on her face and if you callback to what Adam said, time traveling leaves a scar on everyone.
>My only aim is to take many lives
>The more the better I feel
Is Ulrich a satanist?
Season 2 was garbage. Since they are going to introduce alternate realities into the show, it's going to be even worse. I will probably not even watch anymore tbqh.
>SEASON 1 BETTER
>SEASON 2 BAD
>SEASON 3 WORSE
nice opinions
go away
>what is losing height as you become an elderly man
As far as i understand old Jonas manages to close the tunnel in 2019 but the loop itself is still intact, so time traveling with the time machines still works fine.
I watched some episodes the other day, not really good but entertaining .
Does this cutie appears in every episode? I'm dropping if not.
yeah she's prominent
and she ages well
>Does this cutie appears in every episode?
Two or three tops
Who's that right next to Adam? Young Noah?
I think that's Agnes
and old Magnus on the left
don't know about the others
can someone explain what the deal with the imploding eardrums was? it was never explained
so the dead kids are a red hering and are actually corpses from an alternate universe.
hence the burned out eyes.
real mads and real nils obendorf are still alive and used for evil/good timetravel shennanigans
could just be a side effect
ADAM
If you're talking about the kids then it was the machine, if you're talking about the birds I think it was some atmospheric phenomenon due to someone (probably more people) time-travelling
There is a theory about time traveling that has to do with spinning really fast or something.
I kinda automatically accepted that as an explanation to the whole eardrums thing.
>tfw just want to repair clocks in peace in my comfy shop
>tfw weird people wearing rags keep coming back and forth telling me to write stuff and build stuff I've never seen before
>tfw they leave me a baby to raise out of nowhere
How did she not notice earlier?? Winden is not that big, she must have met him at least a dozen times, especially since she was having a love affair with his father.
The alternate dimension shit must have always happened because there's no other way Jonas could have gotten out of his house alive on the day of the apocalypse
who is the older woman on jonas family picture?
you get jonas hannah michael and another mystery female. its very often shown actually
Ines
Someone go back and rewatch S1 and track all the characters eye colours, I'm too lazy but this could be a huge factor.
looking kinda young to be ines though isnt she?
The casting in this show is fucking fantastic.
She is the best.
Meanwhile, at the French delegation meeting
Wouldn't be much of an apocalypse if it only killed a thousand people.
Also, high-tech war drones flying over that region. People coming and saying they detected the god particle in this area. Why isn't Winden a giant warzone by now? You can't tell me those kids with one AFV are holding the rest of the world at bay.
She looked at him at season 2 ep 6 (before the party) and said to Ulrich about deja vu
Would she think it's a deja vu if she has pages of photos of him looking exactly like that, as shown in the next episode?
And her affair with Ulrich started much earlier, it's hard to believe she never saw or interacted with his son until two days before he disappeared.
the virgin steve
>cucked by gf with local crack adict
>falls for lesbian, gets friendzoned
>sidekick is a literal goblino
>gets ass kicked every chance he gets
>overcompensates with gay haircut
The Chadwald
>literally the chosen one
>bangs his aunt, 0 fucks given
>can only be cucked by himself
>creates not only one but two god particle time portals
>pimp raincoat, emblematic af
People don't generally consider time travel to be a thing you know? She might have noticed that and she probably thought "wow that's weird", but "what if my husband is actually that kid right there and he went back in time"? Doubt it
So Elisabeth gives birth to Charlotte, who in turn gives birth to Elisabeth?
Her mother Charlotte, you dumb fuck
>Her mother Charlotte
What?
/thread
lol no
Season 2 is what makes this series amazing.
It's connected to the nuclear power plant and the opening of the rift. Chernobyl is mentioned which is connected to the nuclear god particle portal. Also, the very first time machine (the clockwork one) works only with a microwave signal. Microwaves were mentioned as being responsible for the death of the sheep and the birds.
kek
Also, I still need that wojak Jonas someone posted in an earlier thread. Did someone save it?
Charlotte is Elisabeth‘s daughter, born after the apocalypse and sent back in time to be raised by Tannhäuser the watchmaker.
Later Charlotte births Elisabeth, who survives the blast in the bunker.
Rinse and repeat
Thanks, my buddy!
Okay. I thought about it a lot and I have a crackpot theory that just might make sense with weird adult Jonas and some so far unexplained things.
Hannah also doesn't say anything.
Post it, but make it short
The good thing about DARK is that even though it's extremely complicated everything is still accounted for as long as you're paying attention.
It isn't a show you can half watch while playing on your phone.
My theory is that "Dark" shows us literally the darkest of all timelines. It's what happened after multiple people fucked with the timeline for egotistical reasons up to the point that everything is now in a tight knot and there is no future because everyone just perishes in the apocalypse.
There are many hints in the series that time travel does not necessary hold to a deterministic and unchangeable rule with Claudia telling Jonas he's seen a world without him and a different Martha appearing who has a different eye color - same as with adult Jonas. I think it's plausible that there was a timeline at the "beginning" when an original time machine was created which was then used to go back which did indeed change the timeline. The time machine was then sent back to 1921 so it could be made better through generations of work involved. We see the product being Adam's new time machine that can jump to any point which had not been possible "before". It's possible it breaks the tight loop of causality the timeline we are watching at the moment. Martha's time machine might be the third one, hence the third cycle of improving the time machines. I could imagine her being the product of an alternate family tree in which Mikkel was never sent back, Hannah never accusing Ulrich of rape in 1986 which resulted in him and Katharina splitting up and Hannah and Ulrich getting together who then had alternate Martha and alternate Ulrich. See:
Yes, that was a crazy one.
Seems like Germans don't give a fuck about time, they're all pissing around interfering in their own timelines and becoming their own parents.
Seems to be the simplest way to keep the bloodline pure aryan, no?
We were looking at multiple timelines since the very beginning, guys.
That dude in the old pic seems to be the guy who Noah killed at the beggining of S2, whi btw must be Agnes deceased husband too
Does someone have a screenshot? I can't remember that scene anymore.
Oh, I found it. No, looks like that's a different person or an alternate version of that person.
That's an older Bartosz
I think it's the most likely explanation, yeah. And since he dies before the portal tunnel has been dug and the chapel was finished he could not appear on the sic mundus photo.
Why did Noah even kill him?
Waitasec. Does Claudia here have two brown eyes? Was there a point in the series when she switched to heterochromia?
Looks literally the same to me. Also, why wouldn’t they put him in the picture?
So, who is who is that new blonde guy? If this is a timeline supposed to be a timeline without Jonas, perhaps he is the son Hannah would have had had she not met Mikkel?
I feel like that’s what they want us to believe to deviate attention from Adam=Bartosz
I'm probably going to have to give the 2 seasons a re-watch by the time S3 rolls out.
>Nielsens from another universe
where are you getting these pics?
>So, who is who is that new blonde guy? If this is a timeline supposed to be a timeline without Jonas, perhaps he is the son Hannah would have had had she not met Mikkel?
My theory is that Magnus and Martha in the alternate reality have Hannah and Ulrich as parents which probably leaves the blonde guy to Katharina and someone else.
Filming for S3 started right after S2 was released. Prepare for tons of spoilers and THEORIES
Sounds likely
I think it's going to get even more complicated, guys...
>instagram.com
forgive me padre I wasn't supposed to find that
Dark Martha looks like a bully bitch
Bartoz has more similarities to that man
I mean...
>fan account
PEDO ALARM
Bartosz is too much of a retard to pull off a "Adam", let's be honest
instagram.com
yikes oof
I wonder if that really refers to three times (which would be not very accurate since we got 4 + apocalypse future) and not to three realities that we pass through until we get to the point we see happen in the series. I would be happy if the gist of the series was that everyone fucked over each other with time travel until no one was living a happy life anymore. It would fit with the series.
Bartosz is the guy young Noah kills in the beginning in the name of Adam while building the tunnel in 1921.
so whos the bad guy? white devil or "jonas"? cast your votes
Adam owning this painting that would later get damaged by acid makes me wonder if he really has that fucked up face from just time travel. It would be weird if the acid connection of the painting and Adam's face was just a coincidence.
Everyone is the bad guy. But especially Hannah. Fuck that bitch.
do we even know if time travel fucks you up? stranger Jonas has scars on his back but they could come from anything
maybe he got flogged in the apocalypse future or some shit
>has that fucked up face from just time travel
there are people that believed him?
Not convinced.
Magnus and Franziska exist in that time zone too and they‘re much older
but Hannah is hot as hell
I think the point is that everyone who knows about it is trying to fix things how they see, but actually just doing their part in the loop of inevitability
That's weird
>who is that new blonde guy
He’s the guy who was in Martha’s Ariadne play in Season 1. The guy with black makeup across his eyes.
aaaah i can't wait
It would make sense to have a fucked up face if you want no one to recognize who you really are.
But he also just might be the oldest version of Jonas - the version that tried to fix something but only made things worse and ended up like this. It could be that all three Jonases are not from one tight loop but from a gradual change of timelines.
Shit, they really did plan this shit From the beginning
Well, probably it's not time travel itself that is harmful, it's just you're prone to accidents along the way.
On the other hand there was something mentioned about Clauda being CORED when she was being examined by ME after she was killed, but it may be a result of prolonged stay in the Wienen power plant in the future
d ARK
It really is. 50 year old Magnus is perfect, where do they find these fucking squareheads?
Convince me this series was not made by actual time travelers.
Not an excuse
Since S1E1 he reminds me of a Rick and Morty character. Every time I see him I have to think about that fucking show.
B-BARTOSZSZ WE HAVE TO UHH TO T T TROUGH TIME BARTOSH T-TO THE PAST
N-N-N-NOAH WHAT A.-ARE WE GOING TO DO IN THE P-PAST NOAH
this one?
Post yfw S3 will be three different realities all meddling with each other's worlds and it will get even more complex.
same mouth and nose
Huh? When did we start talking about Platoon?
Left looks like Noah, but this couldn't work at all.
Nah. We already saw young Noah.
I am dead serious, the last time I was that excited by a pair of tits on television was True Detective Episode 1.
Exactly. I wonder if he is part or the solution of the Charlotte / Franziska paradox. But how? Let's say he is a Doppler ...
I'm still trying to figure that Charlotte thing out. Is she her own mother somehow?
Looks more like a Nielsen to me. But also like a brother of Jonas. Remember, we still have a very paradoxical knot with the gun that was introduced by Boris Nie(lsen/Kahn)wald that traveled through time naturally in Hannah's posssession, was used to shoot Martha 1.0 in 2020, probably taken back by Adam to 1921 and then used by Agnes to shoot Noah. There is still a gap of how it ended up back again in 1986. But I have a suspicion that the gun was one of the things from a different timeline that ended up in this loop we're in now. I don't think reality was always this looped in Dark but instead it's the result of the character's free choices but it lead to the DARKest of timelines they now can't escape anymore. The ending of the series will not be about how they escape that loop. It will be about how minor their quarrels in the beginning were that lead them to abuse time travel to ruin each others' lives. Winden started out as a normal and happy town but the four families just fucked everything up.
yes
Franziska and Noah are in the bunker together in 2020. Up until the future in 2053 they will have had a daughter, Charlotte. Charlotte is then sent back to 1986 and given to Tannhaus. Charlotte's daughter Franziska is her own mother.
>Looks more like a Nielsen to me.
Snap. This is Mads Nielsen. Ulrich died in the S3 Universe.
You mean Mads Nielsen's son, right? It could be possible.
What if Ulrich was looking at his own charred body in the morgue but from a different timeline?
Old Magnus = Wolfram Koch (* 10. Februar 1962 in Paris)
Old „Bartosz“ = Roman Knižka (* 8. Februar 1970 in Bautzen)
The actor isn‘t really that much younger. His „younger“ looks could be explained with good genetics.
Yeah no. I just realised again how stupid I am. Since there is already Magnus, it makes no sense that this is Mad's son.
And Franziska is missing. Still thinking he is a Doppler.
>heterochromia
Guys...
look at his eyes. fuck I hate what this show is doing to me.
Keeps me wondering how Charlotte's timeline was before it got fucked with the paradox. The Nielsen's are still related to her.
FUCK FUCK
Also, why does Claudia here have two brown eyes? This can't be a coincidence, right? Did some timelines collapse here?
>Did some timelines collapse here?
Claudia's son she gave birth in a different universe and time.
I think in this particular case the actor is just fucking with us. He has blue eyes and needs brown contacts for his role (does Bartosz have brown eyes? too lazy to look it up) and he thought it would be funny to fire up the eyes theory a bit more.
How does Hannah know how to jump universes while no one from the S1&S2 seems to know this?
Bartosz has brown eyes. But it's still weird the heterochromia is connected to the Tiedemann family. I wish I had high res Netflix to look up everyone's eye colors.
Just leave this thread, Roman. Thx
It‘s again. I just checked his IG and WTF?! He already did that in early 2018. Ok, maybe he‘s not just fucking with us.
Damn, that would suggest Magnus is going to get majorly cucked.
>I don't want this.
>maybe he‘s not just fucking with us
this is what I strongly believe, just too much of a coincidence
Everyone is cucked and upset about it. That's what started everything of this mess.
>inb4 Bartosz started one of the cycles by being the father of Claudia
me both on the left and on the right simultaneously
No, it‘s not Franziska. It‘s Elisabeth, Charlotte‘s other daughter.
>mfw everyone thinks time travel is fun but in reality you sometimes have to wait for 33 years and it's boring as fuck
Remember when there were still people who thought the eye color was just a weird coincidence or an oversight?
I'm time travelling right now
>use contact lenses on one actor
>don't do it for "future" Jonas
Hmmmmmmmmmm
A portal to 33 years in the past opened in your area and you go through it, who in your family would you bone Yea Forums?
but at what point does Noah enter the timelines? who are his parents? Magnus? Katherina?
There is Köhler in 50s opening corpses, another travelling to 80s, and another opening the barrel in 2020s?
and did Egon and Hannah get children as there is something implied about Hannah settling down in the 50s?
Tune in again next week!
Young Mikkel began shooting today
>Adam and Eve
Come on it HAS to be Jonas and Martha
Yes but from which of the cycles / alternate realities?
Why would you call the thread name D A R K you retard?
Come on, I have a guess that the Mikkel plot might be centering around the Prom we see in the slides during the Flashback episode.
Might be where Mikkel and Hannah first fall for each other.
Mikkel was such a good lad why did this happen to him?
at least he got 2nd best girl
Why not call these threads our little DARK ARKs
letters far apart
more aesthetic
RIP
I hate normies so fucking much
At the consequence of not being able to find the thread easily.
>mfw
>filtering out retards
good you need to have a pretty high IQ to understand this show
retard
>not wanting people to realize this show is better than Stranger Fast Food Things
We need more shows on this level of quality, guys.
Fucking Yea Forums cares more about this show than most Germans, so sad
It's largely ignored in Germany because we grow up with the knowledge German series are simply shit. Most people will start watching it with that mindset and easily get frustrated with the series. We're much more used to American series here. Also, the acting of the characters isn't that amazing really and the dialogues are somewhat unnatural. But you get used to it and the plot is really where this series shines.
It's depressing if you think of any, just any, other German tv show.
And suddenly we have Dark. Like the Great and Second World War at once. Just with a good ending.
Is Dark the first German series that got international recognition?
Just name another.
No, Deutschland 83 was the first I think. But it wasn‘t really popular in Germany either.
I don't think Deutschland 83 was very popular anywhere. It was not great, not terrible.
Das Boot. But that's it.
Also the first real mini tv series?
Cute
For American watchers: Keep in mind religion has a lesser meaning in Germany than it does have in the US.
Remember the bootstrap paradox?
I'm pretty sure he didn't mean that litrally. More in a 'you'll end up in deep shit that might scar your face' way
FRIENDLY REMINDER NOAH KILLED YASIN SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE HE WAS DATING HIS FUTURE LOLI WIFE
Big yikes if true!
Don't let this thread die!
un-fried Adam agrees
CONFIRMED
old Bartosz travels to the middle ages and becomes a monk
When are they going to save Hitler?
What are some plot breaking holes?
Nah.
your mother‘s
No one seems to have found any plotholes yet.
The black hole is the entry point. The white hole is the exit.
>Mikkel has noose marks on his neck just as he was writing the letter
You can't be serious?
Also, how do you rate the possibility Adam might not be Jonas at all? Not even from another dimension? There's no evidence for this, but I can't shake the feeling.
I think chances are high he might just be Michael who survived with the help of Ines Kahnwald.
Did we ever see the body?
it's up there. By far Netflix's best series. I think its ultimate legacy will depend on if the 3rd season can bring it home
UHM WHAT THE FUCK
The only thing that makes me doubt je that we see Adam with the St. Christopher medal imagining Martha in front of him.
Also, the only thing so far that tells us Adam is Jonas is Adam saying it himself and his rope marks on his neck.
kek
watching S2 reviews on Youtube and the're are people complaining about them milking the show to keep it on for longer
but they already had everything planned out from s1 on and hinted at everything - you just casually disregarded it when watching s1
I found season 2 much less subtle than the first, but, come on, you don't often see such a high level of quality over two seasons.
Well, Michael was married with Hannah who seems to be the next owner of the medal in 1954 and who will probably drown in the lake later so Jonas can find the medal in 2019. So the medal has a different meaning for Michael than it does for Jonas.
And now I realize that Michael so far would not have seen Hannah with the medal. It might still happen, though.
Damn, this show is complex as fuck.
I found S1 to be pretty heavy handed. It was much slower than was necessary. They just fixed the pacing a bit in S2 which might feel odd after having watched S1. The thing that remained constant was the stellar writing of the storylines that they clearly had down since the very beginning of the show. I just hope this will be a show that doesn't have any plotholes at all.
Despite physical similarities I seriously doubt Noah killed an adult Bartoz in 1921 for refusing to go along with the plan as they were digging up the hole. Why go through so much trouble when any grunt would do it.
Also, does that mean Noah went back and finished the excavation on his own and that's why he's swole as fuck?
Why did he even try to shoot Adam when he could've overpowered those old fucks with his bare hands??
>Why did he even try to shoot Adam when he could've overpowered those old fucks with his bare hands??
I think it was mainly his realization that he had already lost and it was meant for it to happen. He wanted to die there.
No fucking way is that true because the gun simply magically jammed when he shot.
Noah forgot to release the safety switch. It wasn't magically jammed.
Also, I missed that, too, I have to admit. I only later read it. When he unhands the gun he thinks it was fate and admits defeat - only to find out he had just made a simple mistake.
