it peaked at the redneck vs native fight outside the hockey arena in season 2.

first season was solid, everything else was meh to trash

The brawls are some of the best parts of the show imo.
So far, season 3, its been good but I cant help but see some of the cuckery that Squirrelly Dan spouts, plus the pregancy and abrupt abortion by Tannis.

Is rural Canada at all like rural America?

It gets really fucking bad in the later seasons. Dropped it after they did a Charlottesville episode with (((Jay Baruchel))) as le ebil nazi

I think it's pretty much the same as Wisconsin or Minnesota

I saw a youtube clip of the brawl, the leadup was a pretty lame "take down" of whatever right leaning Ideas that were lumped in with the unsavoury stuff.

But thats why im wondering how accurately this potrays rural Canada, the Canadians Ive worked with have been fairly conservative but I also work in mining so?

The gags get old real fast.

Low IQ degens from up country geta fuck outta this thread

As someone who went to high school literally 20 minutes from the actual town of Letterkenny the show hits too close to home

I'm born and raised in rural Minnesota and it's literally exactly like on the show. Only difference is the hockey players are football players here.

the writers despite growing up rural, becames "artists" and joined in the elite west coast champagne socialist virtue signaling circle jerk with trudeau himself.

This is one of the main problems with the show, they got too political.
The other problem is that they've gotten way too repetitive with their bits and jokes. You can't just keep doing the same callbacks in every episode for 5 seasons

>But thats why im wondering how accurately this potrays rural Canada, the Canadians Ive worked with have been fairly conservative
Yeah the people in rural America are almost entirely conservative, the show portraying these hicks as all woke and progressive isn't realistic.

Out west the Natives are basically the same, but not so much with the cliques and shit.

Well, like with the abortion shit, in America its a really hot button issue but in other countries they dont seem to give a shit, though their laws on the matter arent nearly as severe as here either.

I'd rather pull my horn in front of your grandpa instead of watching this low rent, donkey show.

I thought it was going to be more of a drinking brawler half serious half slap stick. Instead it goes full slap stick which half works.

>Is rural Canada at all like rural America?

I've seen multiple houses flying Confederate flags, in Ontario's cottage country as well as further north.

It's interesting to me that it's not a big deal in other countries. To me it seems like the most important and complex ethical issue of our time, and yet there really hasn't been any actual public discourse. Nobody puts any thought into it, either you're pro-choice because you're liberal or you're pro-life because you're conservative, which is nonsensical because it has nothing to do with politics. It's a question of under what circumstances it's permissable to end another human life. But I suppose that's probably why nobody wants to actually really think about it, it's too complex an issue for most.

Fuckin a, ive never even seen one on a house in my own redneck woods. Weird that Canadians would ever feel any southern pride.

The Confederate flag represents being independent and rebellious, it's really not just a southern thing, that's more of a misconception that's been perpetuated, just like the idea that it's racist.

Well sure, but in europe for instance they allow abortion under 12 weeks, which is essentially when the brain begins to work, and legally if youre brain dead, youre dead even if the body lives.
And that seems fairly correct to me, and in the US 12 weeks isnt good enough, but abortion on demmand whenever up to birth is the stance our lefties take, and many of the religious right want to ban it outright.

But I guess with the politics of the show thats what Im getting at, is this shit leftwing in Canada?
