I'm barely halfway through season 1 and I'm finding it difficult to continue. At least with Sopranos it was funny at times, intentionally or otherwise. Here, it's just...ok.
I actually want to watch this series, I really do, but if the other seasons are as dry as the beginning, I probably won't be able to. Therefore, I'm asking you to give me the best scenes that should grab my attention and invest me into the show.
it’s a shit tv show, moderately interesting setting and costumes that’s it
Dominic Green
Hey it's me, the first non pleb itt
Nathan Barnes
ill give u a redpill everyone knows but no one admits to people only watched this show because of christina and her mommy tits its trash otherwise
Nathaniel Wilson
if your zoomer brain is too spoiled by capeshit and sitcoms then don't continue. It's a smart drama that takes its time to develop its characters and themes. Sometimes you'll have to wait for dozens of episodes for one character arc to resolve. Also season 2 is where the show takes off and starts to get interesting
Gabriel Hill
>At least with Sopranos it was funny at times Mad Men is honestly the funniest show I've seen
Season one is a bit of a slough because Don's character and acting is pretty fucking wooden. You could remove him from the entire first season and it wouldn't change. It gets better after the first season.
Robert Sanchez
this episode was both hilarious and disturbing. >when Don freezes for what seems like a moment but in reality it was a whole night very underrated episode imo
Joshua Green
>Not self inserting as Don and living out your power fantasy, later on pretending to act like him while you are making dinner and pretend conversation you would have with shitters bellow you in the office
Camden Garcia
>>Not self inserting as Don you really want to be a sex addicted alcoholic with clinical depression and borderline personality disorder?
John Morris
Literally no difference from now
David Fisher
the last episode of season 1 is by far the best, one of the best in the series
9/10 one night stands I've had weren't worth the trouble and I would've rather have just sat home and wanked and drank.
Ryan Long
show is way more jewy than that
Parker Rodriguez
WOAH I CANT BELIEVE IT
Jack Jenkins
jews in new york? no fucking way
Oliver Parker
You've been pleb filtered.
Gabriel Reed
This show is trash. Power fantasy for sexless NEETs, not even Hendricks makes it watchable.
Luis James
Your problem is comparing it to Sopranos and not simply being entertained by the happenings of the show.
And one of the funnier moments off the top of my head from S1 is when the men are playing around with the spray deodorant in Don's office while Don is having a serious conversation about Nixon with Cooper just outside.
Owen Murphy
>self inserting as any character ever Pathetic.
Nolan Bailey
You're not wrong
Elijah Perry
sucks to be you
Tyler Phillips
>sucks to be successful irl and not need to live vicariously though poorly wrtten tv characters yikes. enjoy dying alone.
Noah Powell
>At least with Sopranos it was funny at times, intentionally or otherwise. Here, it's just...ok. ??????????? youtu.be/gQqVM140Npk?t=59 Hell, the first episode has the shit with the jewish employee. Are you truly this much a fucking neanderthal?
