Insidious and the Conjuring movies are genuine, by-the-book supernatural horror. Not sure why they’re on the chart. And Hereditary may be “slow burn,” but it’s still quite scary and has jump scares, to an extent.

I really don't get the love for The VVitch. It has huge boring segments, the actors mumble so much it's hard to understand what the balls they are saying most the time, the witch isn't scary at all and that peek-a-boo scene had me chuckling. Literally the only good thing out of the entire movie was the father's voice.
