Levels wont change the melee/castrer balance, its the accesory that doubles your spells per turn, I don't remember if there's something for melee attacks too, maybe a buff spell?

This game made me realize that I like cheesy strats more than I enjoy overcoming difficulty. I gave edgar str+ espers and leveled till it was maxed, then did same for speed, then equipped master scroll with a cheeky genji glove. That plus quick and those two swords I forget the name of, and I merced kefka before he finished his intro speech. 16 hits each for close to the damage cap... Good times
