>not letting voice recognition software do it for you
no wonder this shithole only talk about sneed and capeshit

The worst ones are the bus ones that you click and have to wait for them to dissapear and reappear

(Literally had to do one this time).

bring back legacy captcha

The algorithm would have to already know which set of images is the correct choice in advance to work as a captcha, though.

I'm a SWE at Google, this is what it's used for. I don't work with this team though.

You show the same image to multiple people and include a few prelabeled ones in each grid to make sure the human enters validly. For example: if 10 people all answer the prelabeled ones correctly, and 9 of those 10 said image A was a car, it's probably a car. The 1/10 that said image B is a car can be discounted.

It knows some, but not all. That's why sometimes you might pass a captcha even if you do not pick all the right images (you just managed to pick all the ones previously identified by other users). Old text captchas did the same thing.

And yes captchas are used to train AIs, this is no secret. The old version was used to "help" Google transcribe text OCR software could not recognize for their books project.

Are you saying I can fuck Elon Musk’s career just by screwing up captchas???

So we training teslas is what you sayin

what

>car gets into a strange wreck
>the neural network... it was working as intended... not sure what happened
>be me
>spend years and years trying to trick the captcha into accepting false positives
>blood on my hands
>only god knows how many souls i will reap

just get the captcha-bypass addon, jeez!

>he isnt a phone poster
How sick is it sitting at a desk with a full computer like a loser by yourself when you could be posting on downtime/shitting-time while you are socializing or working, faggot.

I realized this years ago bro

The old text captchas always had explicitly one word you could ignore or mistype. Originally, it was just gibberish; a lot of anons chose to fill it in with 'nigger.' Later it was less clear but the word 'calle' showed up as a 'real' word a LOT.

>"select images with traffic lights"
>see traffic lights in image
>press verify without selecting any
>captcha verified anyway

Literally 10 seconds after they switched from the old "Enter the (house) numbers in the picture".

First day i saw it.

it doesn't, there are controls and there is one that it doesn't know whether it classifies as that or not, so your human input of grouping it together with the controls is what creates the training data
it's usually the one that very hardly resembles the object, like for an example the bottom right in OP's pic which is just a black line without active lights to indicate that it's a traffic light, and conversely, you can pick the middle one because it somewhat resembles a traffic lights post and it will still accept your submission because there's not enough data in it to negatively disprove your classification. The easiest one is stairs and mountains because you can pick any stair-shaped object for the former and any grassy object for the latter and still pass 90% of the times

this shit should be illegal

I don't understand how we're helping. When you choose the right pics, in order to verify your answer, google must already know the correct answer so that they can compare. That means their neural network has already been trained
