Star Trek: Enterprise
why dony live action tv shows have openings like anime? live action ones are always slow, still, just a camera circling some things of following the actions of a character. But anime has much more dynamic shots and movements, much better vistas
Any answer besides CSI is incorrect
>WHOOOOOOO ARE YOU
>WHO WHO
>WHO WHO
I don't even like Star Trek.

Pretty much all of their intros have been fucking great.
Everyone ITT is a pleb except me

holy nostalgia
garbage op tbdesu
and the music always has the same tone and rythm, not like anime where is speeds up and becomes more awesome
Because in the west they are used to build atmosphere for the coming episode, not as an excuse to shill music CD's.
inb4 inevitable GoT or walking dead zoomer
I think it'd look very goofy with real humans.
idk, if you found me a live-action music video with tons of quick shots and fast pacing I might believe you.
fuck you boomer

The Terror and Mad Men
Came here to post this my man
TALLUM BOUT YEALLA KANG
Did they ever explain... who was Dusty Mason?
Try babylon 5 openings, season 3/4 maybe. Pretty action-packed, though it does have the generic character portraits going past.

loved the opening, sadly didn't like the show at all
True Detective S2 had a great opening too.
Shame about the actual show...

definitely Dark
True Detective season 1's intro is my favorite as well.
I remember already getting a bad feeling about S2 during the intro of the first episode. It just wasn't as good. The music didn't fit at all, the art wasn't as interesting, it was a little too fast-paced, and so on, and iirc they kept changing it throughout the season.
I though that True Detective was the sort of story that requires a good attention to details to make it work, otherwise it becomes dull and cringey, and if they didn't get the intro get they wouldn't get the rest right either. And I was right.

If I could only choose one this would be it, those final two shots practically pull me back in time.
I was pretty disappointed in the show but holy fuck the symbolism in that intro is amazing. Specifically the angel of death with the NVGs and then the eagle on top.
I don't know if anyone mentioned it yet but of course it's the original Twin Peaks.
The X-Files, E.R., and MASH come to mind.
based.
It's The Simpsons' opening and it's not even close
The Terror even though it's not a very long opening.
Based.
Carnivale, Deadwood, HBO shows in general.Twin Peaks is kino too.

Fringe has some a short but pretty neat intro. Comes with variations too.
