Am I the only one who thought Detective Pikachu was very enjoyable? It was pleasant and I found the world building to be remarkably well done considering it was a fuckin' Pokemon movie

How frequently do people eat Pokemon in that universe? Is it an everyday thing with ranchers raising massive herds of Pokelivestock to supply fast food chains? Is it nearly universally abhorred like cannibalism? Or is it somewhere in between, a la dogs, where it's sort of frowned upon but still practiced, especially in certain cultures?

You have to become psychotically dedicated to your body, work out every week, strict diet, I'm talking Patrick Bateman dedication to getting a godlike physique. Then, you also have to become extraordinarily wealthy. I'd recommend becoming an electric engineer, working at a major tech company and transitioning to management in a few years. Once you're making at least $200k a year and are down to 10% bodyfat you'll have enough clout to move to LA and start hobnobbing with the rich and famous. Eventually, you might be able to get into her group of friends and start dating her, if she hasn't married already. If you're not good looking and/or over 5'10'', you'll probably have to settle for a C-tier celebrity.

Electrical engineering is just a stepping stone to management as the highest-paid starting salary career in the US. Once you get into tech transitioning to Silicon Valley is a natural next step. But fair enough, you'd probably do better as a computer engineer and follow the same route, or a mechanical engineer and go into finance. The mega-rich can hobnob with whoever they want. Just look at Elon Musk fucking that goblin. Once she "ODs" he'll pick up some other chickadee.

I'm not sure how well that Ash storyline would go over post-TLJ.
