Unironically tunnels, because they act as bottlenecks in the event of various serious incidents.
The safety protocols doesn't take into account that there are barely any fucking cars on the road at that time. The politicians just demanded 24/7 monitoring and keeping tunnels clear for potential evacuations, so here I am.
Best part is that I don't even have to watch the monitors. An alarm goes off whenever sensors inside the tunnels indicates unusual patterns or full stops. The alarm hasn't gone off in about 3 weeks now, and the last time it did, it was because some faggots engine stopped.

Yes. Everyone else in the department hated the graveyard shift, and since I loved it nobody objected when I asked to fill it fulltime.
It does require some serious experience and work during the daytime shifts, though.
