Marshall was pretty boring. He never had anything to do and was just kinda there, I like Segel as well so its a shame.

They did a good job of making Ross and Chandler seem like they were close friends simply because they'd been friends for a long time. They still did stuff together a lot but it seemed like their friendship was built on being there during each other's mutual youthful awkwardness and putting in the time, rather than true chemistry/compatibility. A lot of friendships are like this in real life and I felt it was a nice touch. Or, it was just lazy writing that accidentally worked.
