So what's Yea Forums's verdict on pic related and especially the new S2?

so what's Yea Forums's verdict on pic related and especially the new S2?

as a german I gotta say that it's imporessive how basically every halfway decent german actor or actress is on that show now and while S1 was kinda like a german take on Straner Things, S2 really became something else

tl;dr: I think Dark Season 2 is great and one of the best german shows ever made

*impressive

I was pleasantly surprised with season 1, and when I saw season 2 was out I knew it had been so long since I watched season 1 I had to do the rewatch. Went from watching dubbed English to subbed German and liked it better, and was somewhat surprised with how much is forgotten. Finally got to S2E1 tonight and I'm hype as fuck to see how it goes.

could have been one of the greatest time travelling show if they had stuck to one circular "unavoidable" timeline.
they're sadly going overboard with the mulltiverse at the end of S02.
S03 is going to be complete shit.

youtube.com/watch?v=66VnOdk6oto

btw here's the theme by the great german artist Apparat

He did nothing wrong.

>S1 was kinda like a german take on Straner Things
why do people keep saying this? i dont see it at all

hannah best girl

well, the basic concept was about a bunch of kids discovering some supernatural shit

True, but I prefer the older version (because I'm not a pedophile).

Attached: 5-VanessaMaas.jpg (1200x762, 115K)

Yeah just like everyone said that S2 will be total shit

it wasnt total shit, but it felt pointless in the end
and they added a lot of stuf that can be terrible in s3 like the dimensions

guys, do you like the Jonas Brothers?

Attached: xiy5bklxnw831.jpg (1242x1216, 149K)

>s3 not even out yet
>they're going overboard
Kill yourself you stupid motherfucker.

>one of the best german shows ever made
You can remove german and that sentence will still be true. Unadulterated kino

This. I don't know what it is but old Hannah does things to me despite Franziska being the most beautiful girl in the show by a mile.

>the basic concept was about a bunch of kids discovering some supernatural shit
Stopped watching after episode 1 I see

I'm not sure I'm gonna like all the alt timelines next season.
Or was it the way it has always happened?
>Middle aged Jonas went on his turning into Adam path
>day of the rope Jonas went somewhere with alt timeline Martha

But isn't that breaking the cycle for middle aged Jonas? Shouldn't he just disappear?

also, best girl by far.

Brainlet here, what the fuck is Adam's purpose?

Print this
Alt Timeline is what Adam wants to create with the new cycle
Jonas will turn into Adam in Alt Timeline
My dad works as photography assistant

crashing his timeline.. with no survivors

For now, all we know is that he wants to end the world. Also, he created Sic Mundus with Francziska, Magnus, Noah and possibly Elisabeth and whatever Francziska's and her dad's name is.

>predestination shit all over the place
>yet another cliffhanger ending with a world breaking revelation in the last moment
I like the show but the writers are hanging by a thread at this point.

We should truly meme more European shows/movies into existance. I'm tired of USA shit always full of niggers, chinks, faggotry ecc.

>only non straight white characters are a tranny that lives a trailer trash life as a prostitute and an old man whose family is ruined because he fucks that tranny

Yet somehow it's a Netflix show. I guess America was the problem after all

Superior German quinoa coming through

This show was shit.
I watched all of it thinking the germans were finally back but oh no
its just more shit

>yfw you realise America is the reason we no longer want to colonise shit

sorry if i hurt your feelings

i'm just getting a bad "Lost" vibe here, with parallel universes and the capacity to travel from one to another at will.

The show was written beforehand, retard, it's not making shit up as it goes like Lost.
If you judge stuff before you even watch it you're a stupid motherfucker.

There are a ton of them, most are just shit compared to American quality shows and not worth watching. Dark is very refreshing

Noah is /ourguy/. he just want to be with his lgf

So far there's still a strict "nothing can be changed" rule in place right, or did I miss something?

I find it imporessive too. And I had no idea I could watch a show in german.

What about the french delegation?

French are cucks, you can indefinitely postpone the meeting and they'd just accept it.

He uhhhh... killed three children?

Jonas killed three children, Noah is just a tool

Noah personally forced three children to sit on his weird chair and microwaved their heads

The identity theft plot line feels weirdly irrelevant for the attention it got and it lead nowhere.

Is Semir on it?

Why?

Yeah. Really they just needed a reason to break open the radioactive bins to open the portal thing, probably could've been done with a more cohesive subplot. Unless they're going to develop it next season and make it more relatable to everything else. Literally my only complaint about the season and a small one, so no biggie

>my mum is fucking my father's father on the side and lately she is sweeting up to the man that destroyed my grandpa's life
Seriously, Hannah is the epitome of an unfaithful slut.

What was the point of that chair btw? I can't really remember why they did it.

people have recommended this show to me but I have a strict no-Netflix policy

Well I thought the same thing - but on the other hand, do you really think that it's just a silly sub plot and there won't be any time travel related explanation in S3?

Side note: Sylvester Groth is an incredible actor. He always looks like he's seen some shit.

MOAR

instagram.com/gina.stiebitz/?hl=de

It's a show that takes a lot of runtime to tell very little content.

If you actually stop and explain the plot points for s2 you can finish in three sentences or so.

I'm still wondering: Is the an actual priest? I mean, he's not really pious.

best girl

Attached: Antje+Traue+Netflix+Series+Dark+Premiere+Berlin+l8drsmpxKZEl.jpg (400x600, 77K)

Anyone?

FRIDGE
Nope.

Please do.

Wasn't it the first iteration of the time travel machine?

S1 is boring and everyone who claimed to like it was lying.
S2 is good.

This poster has a 5 digit IQ. Be afraid of him. Be ashamed of yourselves.

can someone explain what the deal with the exploding eardrums is? I watched both seasons and they seemingly never explained it.

That was incredibly frustrating. Why are the writers doing this to us?
WHY DOES HE WEAR THE PATCH?!

No one cared who he was until he put on the patch.

Thought S2 was going to be bad but it was decent but left too many unanswered questions. Who the fuck is really Aleksander, why did Hanna leaved Ulrich traped in the past and where is she going to? What was the point of sending the kids in the chair from each time period to another?

Attached: 1552701206925.jpg (622x621, 54K)

S3 when?

Attached: Babylon-Berlin-21.jpg (1024x1001, 78K)

>Who the fuck is really Aleksander

Either a red herring (just a boy who escaped from the other side of the Berlin wall) or a doppelganger from another universe

>why did Hanna leaved Ulrich traped in the past and where is she going to?

She's a cunt and pretty nuts so she's probably out there to fuck up the timeline.

>What was the point of sending the kids in the chair from each time period to another?

Probably just past versions of the priest trying to figure out a more sophisticated way of time traveling. The kids were just unfortunate test puppets.

.

I liked him in Deustchland 83/86, I also liked the show but the filter they used made me sick

If this isn't a trap then I am not interested.

Attached: Babylon-Berlin-Lisa-Liv-Fries-Charlotte-Rutter-1117457.jpg (590x350, 28K)

Aleksander doesn't have to be anybody. his role in the time loop is to bring the dead guy's brother-police to Winden and cause the dark matter to be released

The only arc I care about aside from Jonas and Ulrich is how the loli turns into punished Snake and how they explain her being both the matcher and the daughter of her mother/daughter at the same time.
>inb4 multiple realities

You don't need multiple realities to explain.
Elizabeth and his father survived in the bunker in 2020, right? Young Noah arrived there, they grew up in the post-apocalyptic Winden, they had the baby, they sent the baby to the watchmaker in the past, the baby grew up to meet Peter and so on

Didn't they already do that with the grandfather paradox?

The difference is that there is a distinct beginning with Jonas' father. The lolimilf is more complicated as she can't exist without first giving birth to her mother.

The french are not cucks, they're probably working with Adam to have their revenge on Claudia.

The 2020 apocalypse? That was the french delegation at work.

I don't mean Jonas. I mean objects like the book about time travel by H.G. Tannhaus which wasn't really written by him in the first place.

Wasn't it explained to him by Claudia who figured shit out herself?

i.4pcdn.org/tv/1561299720386.webm

>hornyandlonely.jpeg

SPOILERS:

Jonas meets his older self who tricks him into making his father kill himself and starting the whole saga. Claudia meets her older self and accidentally kills her father. Elisabeth survives the apocalypse with Noah, fucks him and gives birth to her own mother, Charlotte.

And in the middle of that a fuckton of pretentious dialogue that says nothing interesting.

kek

I’m watching in the original German but how is the dubbed English ?

>I can boil a plot down to a few lines
Congratulations, user, you know what a pitch is.

iirc they were testing out the time travel equipment and sending kids forward and backward in time which killed the three

It's absolute kino and I think season 2 is something of a pleb filter. It's a slow burn compared to season 1 and lower IQ individuals won't pick up some important plot elements. Great , great show

I barely rememeber stuff from season 1. Does s02e01 do a good job of reminding you of everything?

Unmitigated kino. /Ourshow/ and pleb filter.

DarKino

Not really. Maybe read a plot summary for season 1 before you go back in.

I experienced actual feelings when Jonas visited Mikkel / Michael just before he kills himself and says "You don't need to do it"... Then Time Bandit Claudia shows up and says "Sorry m8"...

;_;

The ending of season 2 might be a deviation since future Noah doesn't mention that before. However that's unlikelysince if it weren't for different timeline Martha, Noah would have died during the Apocalypse

What percentage of this thread are from the Reich and how watchable is this german TV show for somehow who only speaks the apex language?

Well, now there are multiple timelines everything is on the table, there might well be a timeline where he escapes one way, and a timeline where he escapes another way, etc

Man.. Egon really didn't deserve any of it. Hopefully he still has a part to play in unfucking the situation.

THE LYRICS WHAT DO THEY MEAN

Attached: le cant figure out anything man.jpg (225x225, 6K)

Inb4 he and Hannah make another family member we’ve already seen

How did this guy know to look on the metal album for the lyrics?

Oh fuck is he Jonas's real dad?

it looks too much like twin peaks the return for me to want to watch it seeing as the former was so incredible

convince me otherwise because it seems uninspired thematically

I SAID SORRY FOR KILLING YOU LATER

This guy is Mads Nielsen

They're not even remotely similar.

I doubt it. How would that even work? She travels to 1953 when Jonas is already a teenager. For Egon to be the father of Jonas would require that the 2019 Hannah would travel to a younger Hannah (that's not yet pregnant with Jonas) and to send the younger Hannah to the year 1953, get pregnant with Jonas and then travel back.

But what is trying to say is that maybe Hannah and Egon are the parents of one of the characters without any known parents from the 1984 timeline.

From a parallel universe? Because we know that the dead body of Mads is in the year 1953.

no wait isnt his body in 2019?

based

subhuman filth

So what do you guys think about the casting? I think Dark is one of just a few shows that casted fitting actors for the different ages of the characters. In most shows or movies they just give them the same outfit and the same hair cut.

Attached: Ulrich-Nielsen-rcm950x0.jpg (950x484, 77K)

Attached: magnus-nielsen-rcm950x0.jpg (950x484, 46K)

Young Ulrich was blasting it up and down.

I like Dark and I just discovered another foreign sereis called The Rain, about some virus that kills everyone and some kids are in a bunker and have to survive after. Seems alright after binging the first episode.

Attached: MV5BMTU5NjI4MzI4MV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwNDI5MjIzNDM@._V1_.jpg (1365x2048, 765K)

Very good shit, especially considering the number of characters.

I watched 2 episodes and got bored. More teen-oriented, and a lot less kino than DARK.

How can she fuck up the timeline? Anything she will do has happened before. She is stuck in the loop like the rest.

Attached: 105800074592256.jpg (959x936, 183K)

Now that would be one mind fuck.

who is that in the last frames?

That's Hanna in a behind-the-scenes

Attached: D-5Byr6WwAAXBzj.jpg (1200x1200, 242K)

Why does no one remember the black sphere at the end of season 1 when adult Jonas was closing the passage? The show continues until 2020 until it happens again.

I guess the SJW's are right and I really am a white supremacist nazi because holy fucking shit was it refreshing to watch a show where the entire cast is white.

The Rain is a lot more YA than Dark

i knew jonas was a motherfucker.

>I guess the SJW's are right and I really am a white supremacist nazi because holy fucking shit was it refreshing to watch a show where the entire cast is white.
Nobody even remotely worthwhile likes forced diversity in movies or TV shows, a break from that is going to be refreshing regardless of your views on race.

Huh?

It just makes you a fragile bitch

Bleh. Is there anything else good

>Hannah is the woman who drowns in that lake in the 50's and the origin of the pendant

fug

>and it lead nowhere.
Why can't people understand that a story is over only when it's over?
Judgements like this are retarded.

Tbh I got some weird vibes from future Jonas and Hannah but maybe that's because he's an autist and she's a slut.

Season is over, bitch. A major element like this given so much attention being kept for future seasons is just blueballing.

t. frog

Egon is a retarded piece of shit.

crying about a lack of "black faces" makes you a fragile bitch

pointing out your obvious bullshit just means you have a 3 digit IQ and care little for virtue signalling

Man I hate his fucking hair.
You're a little bitch faggot. You'll never make it.

>You're a little bitch faggot
Be very careful now.

I don't watch television/film where they don't speak American

About what?
It's called "English".

Casting is top notch. Most actors really fit their past present future counterparts. Also Netflix pretty much fucked up using the second last scene of the 2nd season as the menu background.

They did what?
Lmao at the state of paycucks

If you are younger than 18 or older than 50 then you should really not be here.

>Who the fuck is really Aleksander
in my headcanon, some mugger.
shit happened, he got shot and killed someone, but he has backup plan with a fake ID.
it's why he's blackmailed years after, a crime's a crime

I'm 30.
Alexander is probably Hanna's son.

>saw season one
>thought it would have been good if they just stopped at one season and made the whole ordeal an infinite loop
>expected season two to be ass garbage
>people are saying it's good
>there's going to be a third one
>have to watch it now
What kind of ordnung magic are germans using?

All they had to sacrifice was their hold on the bongs.

It's a triple loop , i predict 2 alternate realities in the third season, that are all interconnected in the same way as events in the main reality. For example, the alternate martha appearing at the end of season 2, was essential to be there or that version of Jonah would have been fucked. So she had to be there.

>Alexander is probably Hanna's son.
Isn't he Russian?

Milf Hannah and Franziska.

I think it‘s hinted (and rather obvious) that he‘s from the GDR and just escaped the wall and now needs a new identity so that east german spies don‘t find him.

I like this show because they seem to know what the story is instead of making it up as they go. Also, just started S2E2 and I'm pretty hype.

>just started S2E2
>all episodes are available
>hey, let's go take a look at the show's thread, what could possibly go wrong?
What are you doing, nigger?

I know how to skim. Give me one more day and I'll have the episodes watched. And now I'm out. Goodbye and have a nice thread.

Dutchy here and I just started with s2 and it fucking owns. The German they speak is very pleasant to the ears is it a certain dialect or something?

Nope, it‘s plain Hochdeutsch without even a grain of dialect.

There are some slight hints of various dialects here and there but they all do their best to speak Standard German. Interestingly, this would place Winden a bit more North than it should actually be (in Hessen most probably, which has a very distinct dialect).

Yeah I placed it to the north too but that was because of the many Danish names

They were hanged in 2052 when Elisabeth was finally tired of their bullshit

The post number and various road signs mainly place it Hessen. The forest landscape is very Brandenburg, though. The cave is Bavarian. Some of the postapocalyptic scenes are from buildings around Berlin. I myself have seen a few of those from the inside when I was still doing urban exploring ten years ago.

But most people will probably just accept Winden as a normal West German town.

For the greater good

>tfw you just noticed Regina has heterochromia

The redhead can pee on me anytime

Ah, crap. I meant Claudia. This series is obviously too complicated for me.

Best casting job is Aleksander/Boris

Whoa

Bullshit

Is there any way I can bet real money on this?

Hey, I'm the guy that posts hannah best girl. I've done it in every other thread and I will not have this job taken from me.

If that's the case, why would he need two new identities? Aleksander Köhler and Boris Niewald are both BRD passports.

Probably some english bookie, they‘ll bet in anything

Kingdom

Why are /pol/fags always thinking about their favorite white actresses being fucked by black cock?

They are like women. The most taboo and out of reach shit is what draws them the most.

Time travel shows are all trash. The only good thing out of Germany is FKK.

Post your Dark kinogrids.

Well, if you fled the GDR, the west german authorities automatically granted you citizenship so he could keep his old name at first. But when east german spies in western Germany found him, he had to flee (maybe from West Berlin) and then he made some terrible decisions and eventually killed someone and took his identity.

I don‘t say it‘s 100 % plausible but there were a lot of cases of east german agents catching „Republikflüchtlinge“ (east germans fleeing to west germany) on the west german territory and bringing them back to the GDR.

uh oh, looks like someone just ran out of soi milk

while not as kino as dark, 12 monkeys is unironically good and comes close

This >while not as kino as dark, 12 monkeys is unironically good and comes close
I gave up on this show after like one or two episodes when it debuted a few years back. Nothing at all like the movie, in tone or quality. Seemed like a cheap cash grab.

So I heard the director has a contract with Netflix for more shows after Dark ends next year?

I guess the combination of refugee and crime makes sense.
On the other hand, if you are fleeing from the stasi and you got another passport already, why not toss the original one?

You just know Netflix will make him "Americanize" his next work

Why, tho? It seems like letting him do his thing worked out pretty well.

Also who shot him and chased him into the Winden woods on foot?

I mean is the most likely thing if this was a normal show. But we are probably only awaiting some other brainfuck reveal in S3.

The passports of Aleksander and Boris were issued in Marburg and Giessen, two undoubtedly western german small towns just north of Franfurt a.M.

There‘s not a single mention of the GDR.

Well, we don't know where exactly Winden is, so it could be at the border. But im afraid I don't know enought about the politics/history of the time to make a guess about how realistic the stasi assassins are in this.
Still, timetravel shenanigans will probably the solution.

>Lutz Eigendorf (16 July 1956 – 7 March 1983) was a German football player.
>On 20 March 1979, after a friendship match between Dynamo and West German club 1. FC Kaiserslautern, the Dynamo team made a stop in Gießen on their return trip to Berlin. Eigendorf managed to escape from the rest of the team, jumped into a taxi, and fled back to Kaiserslautern, thereby defecting to the west, hoping to play for the football team.
>In 1983, Eigendorf moved from Kaiserslautern to join Eintracht Braunschweig, all the while under the scrutiny of the Stasi who employed a number of West Germans as informants. On 5 March of that year, he was badly injured in a suspicious traffic accident in which he had driven his car into a tree. Apparently, a large truck had blinded him by turning on its main headlights just as Eigendorf was approaching a curve. He died at the hospital within two days. An autopsy indicated a high blood alcohol level despite the testimony of people he had met with that evening which indicated that Eigendorf had only drunk a small amount of beer. The police ruled the case an accident and Eigendorf was buried without autopsy.

Now that you mention it, yeah. Switching your passports multiple times would be very weird. Changing your identity after time travel is something we've seen already, though.

There is absolutely no reason to believe the inner German border has anything to do with this show.
The only mention of places that are not Winden is Chernobyl and the french delegation.

>200+ replies
>no one posted the ACTUAL best girl
shame

Attached: mute.jpg (500x500, 58K)

While I don't think the inner border has anything to with it, the names 'Boris' and 'Aleksander' are still weird. 'Boris' isn't that common a name and 'Aleksander' isn't the usual spelling. Probably overthinking it though.

So Yea Forums, how do you think will Dark end? I believe that it would pretty interesting to see that neither Adam nor Jonas will suceed and everything will start again - so that the show‘s finale will seamingless slide into the show‘s start.

Oh and btw: here‘s the non-fried Adam for you.

I think this:
I think the time machine at Adam's place is the finished version of the time machine Noah and Helge were working on. It's a more powerful time machine (which God knows who designed, perhaps Claudia? or the clockman? or perhaps it is one of those things without origin) because it can take you to any year you want, whereas the small time machine can only take you +/- 33 years

they had the plot for 3 seasons so i have faith

I'd shag both of them

As I said, I'm probably overthinking it, but Aleksander would have been born way before Becker became famous.

All of that makes this show basically a 30 hour movie and that's fucking amazing. 98% of all the other series are just cobbling together something while Dark has all of its shit in the right place from the very first episode.

Is different timelines what Claudia meant when she said she had been to the world without Jonas and it wasn't good? Or what Jonas explained to Katherina when he said that Mikkel simply cannot be brought back because Jonas can't die because his future already exist?

I agree. Some random dude comes in and orders cast concrete to be demolished, and the orders for containers with radioactive waste to be opened AND the staff follow suit just because he has a search warrant? Fucking stupid. Also, given how that black thing kind of bends the laws of physics, did it really need to be "freed" in order to create a reaction? I wouldn't think so

JUST

>getting cucked by yourself
This series is going too far, bros.

if it's like multiverses closely tied together and influencing each other im pretty ok with that shit, as long as it isn't woohoo infinity worlds bull

Fucking Stasi scum. This legitimately makes me mad.

Aren't their archives public now? Was he really killed by them? Someone should check.

4D KEKING

No, he's right. Someone in the show explains about a theoretical scenario in which something comes to be because it was sent from the future, and eventually it is sent back again to the past in order to start its own existence again, so that the object does not have a real origin and is a loop

Some of them, yes. Some of them only for the US. It's sad.

>Only after Germany's reunification in 1990 did the uncovering of Stasi documents show the lengths the secret service had gone to keep an eye on Eigendorf, who was seen as a traitor in the east.

Stasi records show in the four years before his death, some 50 agents were sent to the west to monitor and report back on his movements.

"Lutz was constantly afraid of being kidnapped back to the east," revealed Josephine.

In 2010, former Stasi agent Karl-Heinz Felgner testified before the District Court in Düsseldorf that he had received a contract to murder Eigendorf, but it was never carried out.

Kaiserslautern's chairman Norbert Thines helped hide the political refugee immediately after his defection.

"I am convinced that he was murdered by the secret police," insisted Thines.

Despite the tragedy happening three decades ago, new evidence could yet come to light – there are still 15,000 sacks full of shredded Stasi documents being shifted through by experts looking to shed new light on the dark deeds carried out by agents during the Cold War.

Is he fucking special? Literally every new guy he finds he obeys without question. No wonder his world went to shit.

I thought it was great until Adam=Jonas. It doesn't make sense that Jonas cannot simply kill himself and in the process kill Adam. I was hoping that it was revealed that Adam is actually Bartosz, but apparently Bartosz is the man that Noah kills with the pick-axe.
Also, the thing with the Martha from another world at the very end was Stranger Things-tier cringe

Imagine being a young German under nazism getting sent to war and then later having to live in East Germany. The thought alone makes me depressed.

>Also, the thing with the Martha from another world at the very end was Stranger Things-tier cringe
Then again, "Welcome to the future" *hits you with a rifle's butt* was pretty cringey and it turned all right.

good question

I never quite understood that. Doesn‘t „welcome to the future“ imply that the future people know all about Jonas and time travelling? Was that established that they do know all that?

>S1 handsome boy Mads Nielsen dead
DROPPED

Germany has been making kino since the silent cinema days, you pleb

So what's with the sleeping pills?

Attached: vlcsnap-2019-07-08-16h25m37s375.png (1280x640, 476K)

Probably wanted to protect him from being questioned?

for sleeping, idiot

Middle aged Jonas

unironically major pull

THE MYTHOS HAS TURNED SLIGHTLY RIDICULOUS IN THE LATEST «SEASON», BUT THE DRAMA HAS REMAINED EXCELLENT.

Attached: STFN MRL I.jpg (775x1078, 67K)

honestly it really kept the ridiculous, at least the one part with the future post-apocalyptic bullshit, very restrained and I am glad it did
imagine the multiverse where dark s2 goes full P-A YA
with the way that scene was presented at the end of s1 I was feeling like they'd actually do such a fuckall twist

THE RIDICULOUSNESS OF THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE POSTCATACLYSMIC FUTURE, BUT, RATHER, THE MULTIVERSAL PLOTLINE, AND ALL THAT IT ENTAILS.

Attached: STP I.jpg (772x1078, 47K)

>why did Hanna leaved Ulrich traped in the past and where is she going to
It clearly showed she's a crazy spiteful cunt
Also she's probably going to stay in the 50's and become Tiedemann's mistress and likely father a bastard child

I choose the lot lizard tranny
She'd have to wax regularly before I help her pay for electrolysis though, I ain't down with that hairy business

>germans invent time travel and immediately use it to cuck themselves on a level never before thought possible by science

Wouldn't really make sense. Hannah/Egon would be too old since he's like 20 in 1986.

Tidderman is a good guy who got stuck with a shitty wife .

Her charcter is a bitch and she looks like a butch just hy the way she is standing .

I just realized this kino is not about "how does time travel work" etc. but instead it's about how would people see their lives and their families' lives if time travel existed. It's quite an in-depth study, really. Has there ever been any time travel series / film with that length?

FUCKING SLUT
SLUUUUUUUUUT
AAAAAAAAAAAA

Attached: SLUT.png (400x400, 202K)

Adult Hannah must be at least 45, how could she have another child?

The child would just be severely autistic

There’s so much quality in this show that after a while one almost gives it for granted

>Egon and Hannah's son is Egon himself

I honestly think this series will manage to connect all the storylines and it will be cult kino in ten years. Also, fuck Stranger Fast Food Things.

Let it be known that anyone who is watching the dub instead of with subs, your mom's a bitch

>not watching the original without the subs

really wurschtelte mein würsterls

w-what if the multiverse is also part of the time loop? And everything still repeats like it always has?

Sick loop-di-loops, you can't escape, user!

I feel sorry for Ulrich what a shitty life bros

"Ich kann einfach nicht fassen, dass du mit meinem Mann und meinem Sohn geschlafen hast."

Alright, I have to admit I snorted. I think it was the first time I ever did that when watching this series.

Attached: Hannah is sick of your shit, Katharina.jpg (1061x671, 72K)

No fucking kidding

I wanted him to return so fucking badly, he doesn't deserve it

He WAS a pretty shitty dude, though. But yeah, this life was literal torture.

Finished the last episode of S2 2 minutes ago and immediately came here. Up until the last two minutes I thought I was great, but NO. "the question is what world am I from"??????? AND I never got to see young Martha fuck middle-ages Jonas??? I am pissed at this show

My boy Bartosz fucked martha no?

time will win user the alternate universe thing is also part of the loop.
They wont change shit. just gotta have faith in time

If you watched Dark with the English dub you should kill yourselves in all time periods

Attached: ECEA62A7-7BE0-4BEB-BFB1-1353D7B83C0F.jpg (300x168, 7K)

would you?

Attached: loli agnes.jpg (784x784, 394K)

What would be the better ending for the series: It all connecting in the end with no free will or an ending that breaks the loop?

Nah

You know this show is just gonna go nowhere and keep you on an endless ride. Just based off the plot.

>can they change the time loop or is this just another event that makes Jonas into Adam? Find out next time!

Attached: 5740B719-CC0F-416A-9FB0-1503CDF98469.jpg (509x1024, 71K)

...

Imagine how fucked up their bloodlines are in just a few generations with all the time travel invest and family fucking

I prefer the “no free will” scenario, which is also more scientific.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Novikov_self-consistency_principle

the first one
well both actually? We don't know what happens to the timeline of adam and the old people after the "last phase" maybe they're free then

All they gotta do is try to kill themselves in some 100% kill method
Like jump off a 100 story building

It’s all pre-written and they also announced that season 3 will be the last

#3

>future Elisabeth with Noah
wait what, the lady in the photo was supposed to be future Elisabeth cleaned up? You sure? Did not notice at all, that seems pretty huge

>Noah a Nielsen
Also did not catch that at all

its still entertaining to watch even if you know the ending user

He was a fucking cunt of a person and he's facing the consequences of attempting to kill a child based on some flimsy belief that it'll bring everyone back to life.

>We should truly meme more European shows/movies into existance
Netflix has tons of European foreign language originals and acquisitions. Dark isn't the only show of it's kind. It's just the most well known.

But he is a handsome stoic man so I only want the best for him

>flimsy
his only mistake was not hitting harder

>stoic

That's not what that word means, user.

post some kino

it is if I want it to
Just have to convince enough people to misuse it with me

Pretty amazing stuff.
The time travel holds together really well.
I hate the fact that they went with the "multiverse" shit.

Why bother? Dubbed is way more unnatural to listen to in live action programming than animation.

It's not going to be rick and morty multiverse shit
It's only been mentioned for a couple seconds at the end, they're almost definitely going to retain cohesion with it

At least he got one more happy moment, ma bois.

Attached: Ulrich and Mikkel.jpg (1920x1080, 613K)

>dat Magnus reveal

I didn't like how Jonas talking to his dad before his suicide and showing him the letter is what caused him to write the letter and commit suicide.
This was unnecessary. I always figured Jonas' dad just couldn't live with the idea that around this time his younger self went back in time and started the loop, fucking up his entire life.

not gonna lie, that shit had me too choked up bruh

Fuckin' Mikkel's cunt ass guardian giving him the forget-me pills

Is he the slightly downy looking old dude always with Adam? Feel like I missed something there

They could also easily restrict the number of other universes/alternate timelines in the same way they limited time travel: one universe at a time. There'd only be slight differences, and no wacky zany hilarity courtesy of your friends at Adult Swim.

>Is he the slightly downy looking old dude always with Adam? Feel like I missed something there
Yeah, and I assume the woman he's with is Franciska

Yep, and the woman is Franziska

Bros, why is this so much better than all the current Murrican shit?

Cause there's no superheroes

>show becomes popular
>Netflix latches onto it

and finally

>packs it full of interracial relationships

all we need to do is wait, fellow BLACKED anons

Probably Murrican shit has to pander to a giant audience of retards (see Stranger Things) and this has freedom to be what it needs to be

dude this is just stranger things lmoa

Attached: kids in the 80s.jpg (1920x1080, 495K)

I liked how they conveyed how fucked up Mikkel was because of the whole time travel shit, I think through the whole series they were very good at imagining and portraying how one would realistically behave in such a unrealistical scenario

There is an alarming lack of diversity in Winden, Merkel would never stand for that

>Bros, why is this so much better than all the current Murrican shit?
Simple
>no forced diversity (in fact the cast is all fucking white)
>no sjw agenda
>smart screenwriting
>no concerns about cramming in characters into the universe for the spinoff show/movie
>not written for tweens

You're right, I was too worked up when I wrote this. Didn't even know there was going to be a season 3

>still angry that I didn't get to see a ~35 year old fuck a supposed ~16 year old
Anything I can watch to help me quench this desire?

Inshallah brother

I like how they skipped the whole nazi era with the 33 years cycle

Cool. I had no idea it was by Apparat.

>in fact the cast is all fucking white
There's a brown ("foreign") corpse. You are objectively incorrect, my good man.

>I liked how they conveyed how fucked up Mikkel was because of the whole time travel shit,
I agree.
But before future Jonas showed up, he seemed very happy and only wrote the letter and committed suicide because Jonas told him that's what he did.
He did it, just to do it. It took all the tragedy out of it.

Also how NOBODY thought about killing young Hitler or something like that

>no forced diversity (in fact the cast is all fucking white)
Imagine having two find two or three samey-looking black people who also speak German. That would've been a casting nightmare. It's amazing they got their current cast of actors who are mostly not cringy at all like usually in German series.

>I like how they skipped the whole nazi era with the 33 years cycle

Germans are really fucking sensitive about it.

Crack a nazi or Jew joke, and they seize up like someone walked over their grave.

Eh. As a German I'm glad they didn't do this. It's an overused trope and it would've made the series basically an unwatchable cringefest.

You cannot alter time, past present or future
Everything is hard predetermined
The fact that all of wwII happened as it did means if you try to go back in time and stop hitler there is no other possible outcome but you failing

>It's amazing they got their current cast of actors who are mostly not cringy at all like usually in German series.
Its this really true? I've only seen Dark and some German WW2 films. The acting in all has been top notch.

Nah, not really. It's just that we crack so many dark jokes about those themes we usually just roll our eyes when foreigners do it in their clumsy matter.

Trying to kill Hitler would just result in what happened when Priest Bruce Willis tried to shoot Adam. Hitler has already existed because the characters were born in a time when Hitler had died, from which they time traveled to the past. They could no more kill Hitler than they could kill their younger selves, because they have already got to that point in time; that is, back in time; and therefore it is already a certainty that they will be born.

I've seen a few series and films but most actors are just very cringy or simply got bad direction. I don't even know. It's one of the reasons we Germans usually stick to American shows. Dark and How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) for me were really refreshing in that sense and renewed my hope for German productions.

>Also how NOBODY thought about killing young Hitler or something like that
They should have fucking warned him about what Germany would become when he lost.
Then given him every bit of info they knew about Dunkirk, the Russian front, etc

Wait, yeah on second thought was his suicide really necessary? They were setting it up like it was the catalyst to everything, either he had to die or Jonas had to die
But now I can't remember any reason why. Fuck I'm already gonna have to rewatch

>Germany is mentioned
>someone somewhere: DUDE HITLER HAHA
