I actually was wondering this earlier. I kinda want to rewatch

Yeah

they're still pretty good desu. i prefer to watch the extended editions bc you can live in that world just a bit longer.

It's been nearly 20 years and nothing has come close to comparing.

Best trilogy of all time, best fantasy series of all time, best score of all time

Yes. The Fellowship being the oldest is still an amazing production, but there is a big quality increase when you watch the two towers, and then again for the Return of The King.

Finnish Gollum is me.

Middle Earth films are six of the top ten fantasy films imo

1. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002)
2. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
3. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
4. The Hobbit (1977)
5. The Lord of the Rings (1978)
6. Wizards (1977)
7. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)
8. Krull (1983)
9. Ladyhawke (1985)
10. Kull the Conqueror (1997)

>no Conan the Barbarian
>no Excalibur
>no Die Nibelungen

second half of the first movie is some of the best kino of the last 30 years.

Smh, didn't subvert my expectations enough tbhpham.

We didn't find out about Saurons tax policy. Shit movies

>We didn't find out about Saurons tax policy. Shit movies
He was a Keynesian, look how he pumped money into the industry of his country to create "national champions of industry". And the fact that he was successful because of the war is proof that keynesianism only works if your country is expansionist.

First one? Timeless.

The other two? No.

bros we should organize a watch together

>Two Hobbit movies in the top ten but no Conan the Barbarian.

What kind of fuckery is this?

Yes

Absolutely tolkino

There was soviet LOTR? Wtf I never saw it.

Kull is there and kull is the proto conan

There's two version of LotR there, yet the Jackson trilogy isn't excluded. Conan the Barbarian is a masterpiece.

I'm not doubting that but kull is a Robert E Howard character so at least hes on there
