With Disney owning most of the lucrative properties, they have more leverage over taking the profits from theater chains which would hurt chains like AMC and small ones which would probably kill them and have Disney make their own theater chains by design. Plus a studio only focusing on big budget tent poles means less R rated movies and less mid budget affairs. The only movies being made will be capeshit, animated movies, and Disney remakes. It's going to end up like the video game industry.

I hope you're joking. Homecoming was the most bland and forgettable marvel movie yet. It's not outright bad like Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor, Thor 2, Captain America, Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, Avengers 2, Black Panther, Ant Man, Ant Man 2, and Captain Marvel, but it's got nothing positive going for it.

Only Iron Man, Winter Soldier, and Infinity War are any good. Honorary mention of Thor Ragnarok for being a decent Taika Waititi comedy.

It should, it's the best Spiderman film ever made.
