How can you make a great first season and then follow up with an abysmal second season? I sat trough it and I just kept waiting for the fun to start but it never came.

Happy! is based on a 128 page comic book so the 2nd season is probably all new material.

It is. In fact several parts of season 1 like the wishees and the demonic possession weren't in the original comic either iirc.

I didn't really get the wishees, they seemed to be actual aliens or something. I liked the "Demon" as just a very old imaginary friend that hops to a new "friend" whenever the old one dies.

This show has the all time record for getting trashed and deleted. He bliws his head iff 10 seconds in and confetti comes out. I noped it. Yet another le edgy willard type show not needed

That scene was weird. S1 is pretty great overall. Just watch it and ignore S2.

They said it was something like that but it doesn't make sense. I thought the first season implied Orcus came from Europe with that kid. I figured they were Sonny's imaginary friends but that doesn't really add up either.

You could clearly see that the director worked on and got influence from Crank movies but it just felt like something that made them great was missing

oswalt tweeted some bad things about cheeto jesus so Yea Forums just does what it always does

this turned me off too. edgy violence and toilet humor just isnt shocking enough anymore to make something good on its own
