The only extant gas chamber in Auschwitz today, Stammlager's Krema I, was converted to an air raid shelter in 1943 when Kremas II, III, IV, and V were constructed in Birkenau. Walls were added to support the roof and the "wooden doors" were added then. The exterior doors of Krema 1 are solid streel slabs. Those are what locked in the gassing victims.
This is established historiography. It's fact. Denying it will always be on par with flat earth conspiracy theories. If it could be taken seriously at all the denier's arguments could withstand peer review and their best experts wouldn't be college dropouts or people with art degress. Deal with it.

It was three separate camps all together, technically. Stammlager, Birkenau, and Monowitz. This is something deniers always "forget" to mention when they go on about the theater and "swimmimg pool" (actually a reservoir the SS added a diving board too) which were located in camp 1, Stammlager, where a small number of mostly Aryan political prisoners and Polish Catholics were held at the height of the gassings. Birkenau was the extermination camp, and Monowitz the work camp.
