How will The Walking Dead TV series end...

How will The Walking Dead TV series end? It can’t really end the same as the comics since it killed every major character off already.

it was ricks coma dream

By trudging along for a couple more seasons before being quietly canceled

I READ 192 COMIC BOOKS FOR THIS "ENDING"?
I HATE STAN LEE NOW

Why is the walking dead still going and planned to keep going for almost a decade meanwhile z nation is cancelled

why are these always in black and white but the covers are in color?

Do they ever get a cure in the comics? Do they just rebuild infrastructure well enough to deal with the occasional zed?

No and yes, respectively

why does she have black smudges on her cheeks all of a sudden

All straight wypipo will die.

Can someone sum up what happens after the face skin mask wearers turn up?

Shadow

Hopefully soon

are the zombie populations just so low at that point that they aren’t a serious threat anymore? Do try get smart and actually make people sleep in relatively closed areas so they don’t all get wiped out cause some dude had the flu (like in the show’s prison and hilltop)?

All manga is black and white.

Wait didn't the writer say they would make the conclusion satisfying? Wow. You guys should expect One Piece to be the friendship they made along the way

the artist dun goofed
that was suppose to be the cheek bone shadow
but it was super dark and on a round kid cheek

satisfying for the fans or for himself?

I'll try
they find another group of survivors but they're way more well off than anyone else and have a society close to the way it was before
Dwight wants to fight them for reasons, Rick wants peace
Michonne finds her daughter there
Rick ends up blowing Dwight's brains out
the leader of the new group is some lady with a shithead son
He kills Rick
big time skip
Carl is all grown up and lives in Frontierland with Sophia and his kid

Yes to the first question, to the second question: not explicitly but it's implied that the Zeds are so rare there's not really a need for that

You can easily have this same type of ending except have it with Judith and her kid instead of Carl. Hell, make the kid a kid named aftet Rick for extra emotional punch

Do the initial outbreak zeds finally go full dust and the others progressively with them? Or do they cull them effectively enough to get their local numbers down?

I thought it was weird they decided not to include the entire comic arc where Rick finds the synagogue full of child survivors and spends 30 days exterminating their whole community.

>The big storyline 'No Way Out' ended with Rick proclaiming that Alexandria was a place worth fighting for, that they could no longer keep moving from place to place... they had to take a stand, lay down roots and start building from there. Their nomad days were behind them. Well, for years that had been planned to be... the end. Rick would make his proclamation, and the speech would end with a big close-up on Rick's face, you'd turn the page, and Rick's face would be the same, only it was a statue... and you'd zoom out and see the full statue with some vines growing on the bottom of it... cracks forming... and you'd realize that it was quite OLD. We'd keep zooming out until we saw that the statue was in Alexandria, the same place where he gave the speech, but it was different. It was old and rundown, broken windows and missing doors. We would keep zooming out until a zombie walked by, then another, and we'd see that Rick had brought them to Alexandria, given this grand speech about rebuilding civilization and SUCCEEDED to the point that they built a statue to honor him... but in the end, the dead won, society crumbled again, this time seemingly for good... and that was it.
The original ending would have been kino.

Do you mean for the tv show? Because she got fucked shotgunned in the comic

>it inexplicably all collapsing again after being rebuilt
>kino

>clearly only halfway trough the book
>"read it again!"

$$$

It’s a Choose Your Own Adventure book.

Obviously he means the tv show.

People still watch it? During middle school I was friends with a kid whose dad was absolutely obsessed with it and naturally so was the kid, but he never talks about it anymore despite being a diehard fan from the beginning and up until The savior arc

The Walking Dead’s art sucks.

Fuck Stan Lee.
Fuck Marvel comics.

> Negan barely gets seen (if that even counts) though it was implied he would make a return after Rick'd death
> Princess, Mercer, and Pamela are propped up to be major characters going forward that go nowhere
> The story of rebuilding the railroads gets abandoned in the time jump and it we get to the completion
> No real repercussions from Dwight's Murder (the explanation the time skip is so hamfisted and corny)
> SO many new possibilities going forward that Kirkman left out (klansman like group in the wasteland, religious nutjobs, scientists working on a cure, remnants of the government, radio signals from other countries, traveling to other cities [NYC, LA, Chicago, etc])
> Ending of the comics is sudden and abrupt when it was implied that we would get to 300 issues, at least or at least to 200 issues
>

Ending was meh to me.

But why? The zombie craze is over. Didn’t they already cure it in canon anyway?

It will probably go for the bleak ending Kirkman had originally where it pans out on the statue of Rick to show that the world has once again been taken over by the dead

I'm pretty sure the ratings and views aren't quite low enough to cancle it.

lol what the fuck? haven't read the comics in a while but I thought it was supposed to go to Issue 300. i spent several minutes reading a summary of issue 193 not even knowing it was the final issue.

it's not explicitly stated

So how did this Manga end

Was it all a dream
?

I honestly liked the ending for the most part. I would have tweaked the zombie traveling show to being something Hershel had just started because I can't imagine anyone being OK with it

Kirkman got bored.

>drag out the story for 193 issues
>can't drag it out seven more damn issues for a nice even 200 issues
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Probably just bored spent like a decade on the comic so I can understand. Honestly after a certain point it makes sense for TWD to become more of a political drama between settlements and starting civilization again dont think the comics ever really get into it

Yeah, it ends with Shane picking Rick up from the hospital after he woke up from his coma. As he is being wheeled out in his wheelchair he notices that his doctor looks exactly like Negan and his nurse is Andrea.

It makes sense when you remember he isn't writing for floppies anymore. He's not even writing for trades but those giant compendiums

What a shitty and compromising way to write
He makes me sick

the viewership goes lower and lower but the cost of production goes lower as well. i doubt anyone under 40 watches it still and AMC knows they cant just cancel it since it's literally the only big name they have

Hello user , IT is called a "smile", It is a humanoid emotional expression.

Nah that would have been shit da fuck? You got shit taste suck my ass.

Jesus, 'journalists' don't even try anymore

Did the comics end?

Yeah, that’s the ending.

I wonder if Carl would let his daughter date an older man if he thought he was nice enough haha I promise I'm not weird or anything

In the future Americans will be reading right to left.
