What's the best space movie?
Lucas Fisher
Lucas Turner
Certainly not that one
Parker Wood
Armageddon
Hunter Bailey
This but without multiple layers of irony and post-irony
Ethan Hughes
Sunshine
Gabriel Lewis
it hasn't been made yet
closest thing we have is Prometheus/Alien Covenant
Samuel Ramirez
This
Aiden Thompson
Moon
Christian Garcia
fight me
Ryder Powell
Jeremiah Gomez
On the silver globe
Nothing even comes close, and US space movies aren't even in the top 10 if they tried
Owen Reyes
Cringe
Lucas Thomas
probably alien
it showcases how boring and isolating but still hostile space is
Oliver Hall
You are a foolish person, and you opinions are those of a person who is also a fool.
Bentley Watson
Cringe all you want, it's the objective truth
Xavier Sanchez
Apollo Apollo Apollo Apollo Apollo Apollo Apollo Apollo Apollo Apollo Apollo Apollo Apollo
Daniel Robinson
Sunshine is crap
Hunter Price
YOU'RE crap. Now what, smartass?
David Ortiz
Gravity was one of the best films I saw in IMAX 3D
Leo Sanders
Agreed. I hate those silly space zombie nonsensical films
Tyler Hall
There hasn't been a good one yet
Evan Bailey
Agreed, people that bitch about third act don't understand the mental vulnerabilities that can play out in the middle of fucking nowhere. First episode of the Twilight Zone covered the same thing.
Hell, it even played out the same at the bottom of the ocean in The Abyss.
Joseph Edwards
Moon is arguably the best of the ones that try to have feels. Mostly on account of Sam Rockwell's acting and Clint Mansell's score. The director couldn't follow it up though. Some fucking Jack Gillynhall movie about a train or some shit. I wouldn't say it's the best space movie, though. The best would almost necessarily have to be somewhat autistic.
Asher Hill
Luis Martinez
Gravity
First Man
Moon
Michael Campbell
How the fuck was pinbacker a zombie, in the common traits of zombies in other films or books?
Joshua Bennett
>love is a physical force
Bentley Peterson
Moon is barely a space film tho, it could just as easily have been set in Antarctica or something.
Jaxson Young
>gravity works thru time as well as space
Gabriel Long
Best part of this film is the soundtrack, fite me
Gavin Nelson
Isaiah Jones
Event Horizon
Robert Jones
Only correct answer if talking about "real" space.
And the only Kino space accident that was both impressive and survivable since usually space engineering seems to be a case of either you are 100% screwed or not.
Liam Reyes
Evan Ward
I want Gravity remade with Rodny Dangerfield in the Sandra Bullock role.
He could've done the perfect dive back down to Earth, too.
Nathan Howard
Not that lop of suburban shit.
Ian Peterson
The wormhole pencil through paper explanation scene was the hardest cringe I've ever had in a theatre.
Bentley Kelly
The movie is arguably the worst peice of space trash. Every time a space thread comes up retarded Sunshine fans from reddit infect the thread with their stupidity. Once again this thread is no exception.
Brody Diaz
It is in lots of films, easy way to explain the idea I guess
Isaiah Lopez
Not as cringe as your retarded post.
Logan Johnson
gravity is awful.
Aiden Hernandez
The music is great, the visuals are arresting, and teh acting is good. Sure the premise is absolutely ridiculous, and while I liked the third act turn I can understand why people did not, but it is in no way a bad film.
Parker Walker
You really told him.
Wyatt Sanders
is this actually a question? 2001 of course. Might as well ask what is the second best space movie
Isaiah Bell
Yeah in shit like Event Horizon, it has zero place in a oscarbaited shitfest like what Nolan was trying to accomplish.
Asher Wilson
except your bigger crap :)
Henry Russell
>Everything I don't like is reddit!
Justin Richardson
forbidden planet
there is a reason why they have not attempted any kind of remake or reboot
Jeremiah White
Oh fuck I've been BTFO! You win this round, you crafty fucker.
Owen Wilson
lol u got blown the fuck out so hard that you even recognize that u lost
pathetic
Christian Gomez
It is an ad hominem fallacy to simply dismiss something because of who you ASSume or know who is posting that opinion. Learn to argue aside from calling names or insinuating something that you simply believe is true with no meaningful evidence.
TL;DR. grow the fuck up.
Carson Moore
It's fiction.
Eli Diaz
>1972 Solaris hasn't been mentioned once
I'm posting with zoomers, right
Christopher Ramirez
>TL;DR
>reddit spacing
uh oh
Jackson Phillips
Joshua Gutierrez
2001 4k
Aaron Rodriguez
Andrew Roberts
Moot is the ultimate redditor now.
Grayson Robinson
"Pain & Gain" up next, in maybe 10 or 15 minutes!
James Young
CANADA
WHAT DO YOU SNEED?
Julian Mitchell
Your faggotry aside, I love that scene.
Bentley Sanders
Again that is not an argument, at all. Just avoidance of one.
Austin Hughes
"Pain & Gain" is starting! Come watch the film critics are calling "laughably bad" and "hopelessly tone-deaf"!
Jordan Myers
You could've made that third act with Strong's character as an inhumane force of nature, or some sort of phony messiah that claims to have seen the same things as Kaneda but survived.
Instead the film turns into a slasher, and while I can appreciate the intention and the novelty, it just doesn't work.
Ryan Ramirez
Fifth time refreshing and its keeps fucking pausing and buffering
Carter Cruz
It is being hosted in America, it takes a little while to start. I am watching and not having issues, perhaps it is your browser?
Jackson Rodriguez
>or some sort of phony messiah that claims to have seen the same things as Kaneda but survived.
That is literally what happened user, were you drunk watching this?
Jackson Myers
Alright after waiting for a bit it seems good
Aiden Reed
i love the part where they feed and seed the sun (formerly dying)
Jason Davis
This movie's legitimately great, why do people shit on it
Blake Morales
Seconded this after alien tho obviously
Juan Long
>t.brainlets
Mason Gutierrez
All great movies.
I recently watched this one and I like it a lot.
Nicholas Garcia
You're not wrong, but you could say that about a lot of space sci-fi. Alien was basically a movie about truckers.
Leo Taylor
the apollo 11 docu-film released earlier this year. easily the best space movie this decade.
Connor James
That is true, although the space setting was more important to "Alien" than it was to "Moon". "Moon" is a pretty great sci-fi tho.
Eli Kelly
high life and prospect were two recent ones I liked
Jordan Lee
not fucking that
the question you have to ask is does it matter how important space is to the movie or does it merely only have to take place in space.
Liam Kelly
Pandorum is kinda average to me but the visuals/props were top notch.
Elijah Garcia
based
Isaac Gutierrez
This falls in the god tier of sci fi films
Justin Bailey
Easton Nguyen
Moon
Aaron Murphy
and don't forget Plan 9 From Outta Space
Julian Gray
just depressing bullshit disaster movie
>whole world is gonna die
>let's save the world
>we're all gonna die
>we all die
>told you
you have to have at least some positive element in a movie to make it watchable
Tyler Scott
>posts a tumblr gif
Michael Wood
that is to say you can kill everyone if the film is at least funny or something and not just depressing as fuck
Christopher Reyes
I'M IN OVER MY HEAD
Brandon Reed
best watched with the mr/mrs jim lovell commentary
Wyatt Bell
I actually think this movie handled the "whole world hangs in the balance of a few people" trope better than almost any other
Justin Gray
u might like this
why has nobody posted this german kino
Camden Long
As if that makes any legitimate comment on the movie itself. You are no better than the fags that obsess about stupid reddit spacing.
You haven't critiqued what I have said, only the medium and way in which I said it. Which amounts to nothing to the film. Try again.
Kayden Kelly
Sunshine is a garbage film that makes little sense, please go back to climaxing to Adagio in D Minor
Camden Sullivan
Mars Needs Moms
Gabriel Taylor
Based gaynigger poster
Brody Baker
Mediocre Alien... Fuck right off you uncultured pleb
Nicholas Price
Not even the best movie about going into space, landing on an asteroid, drilling a hole into it, putting a nuke in the hole and blowing it up to save Earth from extinction
Parker Ross
tf3 blows Gravity out of the fucking water, much better performances unironically. Gravity was cringe
