I like how all the kids look terrified when Man of Murder enters. They know their time is short. You can prepare for the school shooter, but how do you prepare for everyone in fifth period lunch getting their necks snapped simultaneously?

I had low-to-no expectations for the movie so I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. Little black girl was super cute, and all of them turning into heroes at the end was cool.

The only problem is how did Billy meet Superman? Now they'll never get to meet for the first time on screen

No, the funniest thing was the was the monologue while Billy and Sinava were flying. That made me lose it

Noone actually laughed in my theatre. everyone just said "ohhhhh....", because the only reason it wouldn't be cavill is if he stopped being supes. That realization was just sad as hell and everyone in the theatre felt it. I gave up on dc films after this, shazam kinda sucked if im being honest. At least we got BvS and MoS.

Both of those films I mentioned has massive flaws, MoS having less than BvS of course. But at least it had a coherent vision that got fucked up by justice league (which I never saw for obvious reasons). Shazam just felt kinda forced, effects were really bad. I think they messed up on casting Zach as Shazam.

Not really man, remember that film came out in 2013, shazam was 2018 right? Each fight in that film when I watched it in IMAX looked really bad, one because they focused on the CGI faces when they were fighting and it really stood out. I know the budget was pretty low but generally MoS is more believable than shazam.

It was enjoyable. Had some nice family moments but also wasn’t afraid to get dark. Felt like the Raimi movies.
