Can anyone recomment me some horror kino? I’m sick of childish stuff with cheap and infantile jumpscares and prefer a more atmospheric, slow-burn type of horror film. My favorites are pic related and Hereditary.

Lake Mungo, watched it last night it genuinely scares me. Hereditary is also pretty kino

Based, the only way to destroy soi horror is to make everyone think it's bait when it's mentioned seriously

i almost 200% guarantee you're that guy who posts his stupid onions horror chart in every thread and you just made this so you argue with people again. you are not funny lardass. search some youtube comment section where this type of braindead jokes get more appreciated.

Shining

The way this film pisses of faggots makes me love it even more.

Exorcist is the scariest movie, faggot.

faggot

yes you are a faggot, faggot

...

Am I not supposed to find the girl attractive in this movie? Because when she gets naked at the end she's a total PAWG

That's because op is a faggot. what a surprise!

I didn't get that movie at all. Why the hell were they so obsessed with a random military guy, and why did they need him to kill his wife and kidm

cringe

You're lucky that soi face jumpscare poster isn't around but don't push it.

It's a death cult thing, you wouldn't understand. Kinda like all the weird shit in Hereditary.

at least post the latest edition faggot

I hate all those movies except Alien, what do I win?

Also OP, watch Us

insidious isn't making fun of any tropes

Hereditary and it comes at night are so fucking terrible movies, I don't realise why any person pretends to like them.

That's the butthurt reddit edition, he just added random shit to it for no reason

Need to get midsomar on here

yea I see it was made by a redditor now that you mentioned it, I do like the original image, it's pretty true

Not everyone is into blacked.com mate

Insidious is such a fun movie. The second one is a fucking blast. The further was such a fun idea. The movie isnt making fun of horror tropes but it is having as much fun as it possibly can with them. I unironically love the second movie and the first two watched together is a lot of fun.

bad taste

the second movie is reality

i know this is a bait thread but lake mungo did scare me a lot. and i havent been scared by a movie since i was a child so i feel like thats saying a lot.

fuck off, hereditary is a drag where nothing happens. The only thing it has going for it is good Cinematography. It's not scary, it doesn't build anything up, it's just boring and the ending is so cringey.
It comes at night doesn't even make sense, pseud morons trick themselves into believing they understand it but I thought about the movies story extensively and it's just bad writing overall. The only somewhat good thing about it is the ending, how the home-owner couple were the infected ones and tricked themselves into believing that the guest family was infected but not them and how they were desperate. But a far better movie could be written around that ending.

bad taste

what horror movies do you like?

That scene in Blair Witch Project where they hear somebody walking around their camp at night is x1000 scarier than any modern jump scare garbage compilation.

Watch midsommar

Bone Tomahawk

dogtooth and all the saw movies

figured id watch hereditary just for the fuck of it. im at the 35 min mark now. question for those that saw it and think its bad
what feeling did the scene of little girl smashing her head against the pole and the sequence that followed leave you with?

Kek

arousal

sort of like someone punched you, it was a well built up and sudden scene. But other than that the movie is pretty shit, it has one other cool death though with fire.

i was tense about the way the family would handle that
the scene was well executed, with the son stumbling out of the car and crashing onto the bed, waking up to the mother screaming
I honestly enjoyed Hereditary all the way through. both from the horror and the psychological drama angle
it has big similarities to rosemary's baby, in the general form of the plot, but they're not so large as to bother me
