Having visited and lived in other countries, yes, I read up on their laws beforehand and while I'm there, and would look up the laws before doing something like killing an animal, because I'm smart enough to realize that's usually illegal to just kill an animal you found in the wild. I wouldn't just assume strangers, who have no real concern for me, would be looking out for my best interests when really, why would they begin to care?
